I had a terrific experience with Chris and Jade at Unity Insurance. I was running into a wall with my personal broker so I needed a 2nd opinion about my California Carmel -by- the-Sea home that was recently deemed uninsurable due to the potential fire hazard in the surrounding wilderness. I went through a few brokers but through luck or determination found the professionals I needed in Unity. They are pleasant, patient, and personable but more importantly knowledgeable and their follow through was exceptional. My uninsurable home is now comfortably insured. Thanks Unity.

We are thrilled that we found Unity One. Jade is our agent by far is the best insurance agent we have worked with. She is handling all of our insurance needs - home, auto, umbrella and earthquake. We were with State Farm for decades and rather then waiting to be cancelled we had Jade find us new insurance and then cancelled all our State Farm policies. She was very knowledgeable, reviewed several alternatives and options with us and at the end of the day we secured better coverage then we had with State Farm with a company that had a higher rating. Also, our premiums are slightly lower than what we had with State Farm.

I was contacted by Jade. Right off the top several Red Flags went up. She wanted a copy of my current policy without any disclosure documents. Then she started to tell me that I did not qualify for FAIR, when I had already talked directly with FAIR and knew differently. Also, in shopping around I had already received FAIR plan quotes.
Overall she raised lots of red flags, and left me feeling uncomfortable. I think she went in making a lot of incorrect assumptions. She was not willing to validate her poor assumptions. And, she continued on in an inappropriate fashion.
This leads me to believe that she would not find something in my best interest. I would be very hesitant before using Unity One based on my experience.

I have not had inconsistent responses from other providers. They were all consistent, and aligned with what FAIR had told me. My only inconsistent response has been from Unity Insurance. Even in your response you are trying to justify your ineptitude. I have since re-talked with FAIR, and they are also concerned with your response. Side note: you have also been rude aside from throwing up other red flags.

I actually found Unity One online and based on the reviews decided to contact them after being turned down by other insurance companies. See, I was moving from Texas to CA and into a high-fire risk area and had no idea how hard it was to find insurance and fire insurance on top of that. Jade was quick to reply and worked to find multiple options for me; she even would let me know if she found cheaper options as we worked through the process. She worked alongside my lender to make sure everything went through quickly as it pertained to my mortgage loan (FHA which has specific insurance requirements) so that we could get all the ducks in a row and close a full week early which meant the world to me and my family. Highly recommend the team at Unity One and especially Jade! I've been referring her to anyone that needs insurance in the OC and Inland Empire areas.

Pedro at the San Clemente office finds the BEST prices and offers phenomenal service. Each year he shops my insurance for the best rates. I started out with flood insurance and he saved me 60% the 1st year and continued to shop each year and saved me another couple of hundred dollars this year.
