Kimberly is amazing to work with! Everything from move-in to move-out was smooth during the two years of stay at one of Trautman PM's (formerly Champaign County Realty) managed properties. Kimberly returns emails within a day most of the time, and she does her best to accommodate any requests like early move-in). The maintenance requests submitted through Appfolio were promptly taken care of. Although I have never talked to PJ directly, he has also been super responsive over emails. Out of all the leasing experiences in Champaign, this has been my favorite. I wish to be back with Kimberly and PJ in the future. 👍

We've had an excellent experience with Kim Baker, taking care of our property. We had to renovate our property before having it leased, including overall painting, carpet replacement, backyard fence installation, and many more other things to be fixed. Kim took care of it very quickly, and found new tenants as well, during that time. We used Trautman to purchase our house and the experience couldn't have been more delightful! I found them on Google and kept my fingers crossed, and I couldn't have gotten luckier. We bought from out-of-town, so we relied on PJ and his team for FaceTime home tours and were entirely dependent on their expert eye — which they provided in spades. Everyone PJ recommended was super great, especially the lender. We had last-minute changes like a remote notary and revised closing date which he accommodated like a pro. His negotiation on the price and extras was also very successful and appreciated. This is my second home buying experience, I know what can go wrong, and don't take their skills and kindness for granted.

Review from someone just having moved in... The interactions with Trautman Real Estate were straightforward. Whomever I spoke with was polite and patient. The only reason I don't give five stars is because there were occasional hiccups in communication. I suspect they were technology related, but they were hiccups nonetheless. I would have no reservations working with them again.

PJ and his staff were extremely helpful and patient while assisting me and my family in purchasing our country home. Pj and Genia drove hours and hours showing us any house that we wanted to see. I have been renting my home from Champaign County Realty since 2020 and Kim, PJ, the maintenance guys, and just everyone I have talked to have been awesome! I've really have had the best experience with this company so far! I had my AC go out on a holiday weekend at the beginning of September so I sent and email around 10pm on a Sunday and 1st thing Monday morning (which was a holiday) one of the maintenance men called and said I'm on my way! I was so surprised and grateful! They are very thorough and make sure they get things fixed ASAP! Also, they come around every spring & winter just to make sure all of the appliances electricity (down to light switches) are in good working order for me! It really is a great company! They also give you your privacy and always let you know well in advance if they are coming to do anything needed! I love my home because it truly feels like my home because Champaign County Realty has made sure if there's anything they can do to make it better, they will! I DEFINITELY recommended them for your next rental! Also, their rent prices are great! As a single mother it feels great to have a great home that I can afford and my kids are just as proud of our home as I am:) I plan on staying here as long as I can and if for some reason I HAVE to move I will definitely speak with Kim or PJ about finding another place!
