Well, where do I start? Most people in my company just turn down this insurance because they say it is too high, but I wanted to research further. I got information on the company themselves and read the policy options. When I called to have them explained the woman who answered said that the main agent was on vacation but that she could pull up the policy and go through the information with me. After going over the policy it seemed almost too good to be true. It would cost me $200 a month, but the company would be paying in an extra $1200+ a month. When I asked why the numbers were different and why they were paying in so much she told me that anything over what I paid (meaning what the company paid in) would be going into a health savings account, which would accrue over time and could be applied to my deductible as well as any copays. The deductible was $6000. This sounded too good to be true so I reiterated three times and had her confirm when I repeated the information back. We both laughed when I said we'll I definitely want it then, I don't know why everybody turns this down! She laughed and confirmed that I did want the coverage and I said absolutely. Several months passed as I let the health savings account accrue value. Once I knew the account had enough to cover my deductible I called to see what doctors my plan covered. After learning this information I asked what the balance of my health savings account was, at which point the man told me I had no health savings account. My jaw dropped to the floor. I told him about my discussion with his office staff and why I chose to take the insurance to begin with. He turned it on me and said it sounded like I had been healthy but now needed coverage and was trying to get a free ride. I paid for this coverage for an entire year and never once used it. I was so furious. I was lied to, and then blamed as if I was trying to scam them. I am appalled. I am a healthy person overall. I have not been to a doctor in some twenty years, but I wanted to know where my health is at baseline, and to have insurance just in case. I was furious to find that I had just wasted all that time and money only to be told I couldn't get the tests that I needed done. Please do not use this insurance. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau and will tell every person I can of their deceit.

We recently needed to speak with Shelly at Tedrick Insurance involving one of her insured. She told me she would speak to the insured and call be back with how to proceed. I waited two days and never heard back. I then called her to be informed they were not going to do anything to rectify their wrong doing. I especially thought the sarcastic giggles as she hung up were very professional.
