I went at 27 weeks pregnant with pains and hardening around my stomach. Instantly, without hearing me out, the lady at the front desk said "we don't have a labor and delivery," I know. I was there for chest pains not labor pains. The nurses were AMAZING not once did I see a doctor though.

Fast forward after I had my baby, I had another attack and went back, same symptoms. This time I got an IV, CT scan, and the nurses were great. Told me they had the same happen and it sounded like gallbladder attacks. Dr. Washington came in, keep in mind I was a month postpartum at this point. Said my urine had a high white blood count and I had a UTI, gave me antibiotics, WOULD NOT LISTEN TO HIS STAFF AND SAID THE SCAN WAS CLEAN, CONTINUED TO TRY AND LEAVE AS I WAS ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT BREASTFEEDING WHILE TAKING MEDICINE, Absolutely would not listen.

Not even a week later I had another one, got sent to Campbells office and the same scans Washington looked at showed my gallbladder was messed up! Had surgery two days later!

I did not have a UTI I was healing from having a baby I was giving antibiotics I did not need and lost my milk supply.

On 11/4/23, I had to visit Dr. John Washington in the ER roughly around 1 am with excruciating pain in mouth /tooth.. He looked in my mouth and said I don’t see anything. I told exactly where my gums were swollen.. he basically acted liked I was making up something.. he gave me one hydrocodone acetaminophen pill after seeing me for 2 minutes.. if it wasn’t for my mother insisting that I get the doc back in and requests at least antibiotic.. he refused to come back in and speak to my on FT but wrote a prescription for antibiotic.. I ended up with abscess tooth s/ p root canal.. I would recommend him to no one .. he doesn’t care and charges $12 for antibiotics each 1pill and $1,050 level IV care.. ridiculous!!

I give this hospital 4 stars for the new, nice ER and the staff. My tech was so nice and professional and my nurse was very nice too. The x-ray tech was great and the lab tech was absolutely painless. However, the ER DR. was incompetent. I came in with extreme pain and I left in extreme pain. He questioned everything I said , like he didn't believe me and told me I should not be using my gynecologist as a primary dr. He asked me if I " goggled " my symptoms and was so disrespectful. He even scolded me for coming to the ER in the first place. The doctor's name is Dr. Washington and I suggest that he go retire and Taylor seeks a replacement quick, fast and in a hurry!

Having an issue with a past due invoices from my company for services we provided to the hospital. Unusual for a responsible organization such as a hospital. Not a good omen, I guess the BBB and Chamber of Commerce is next stop.

Taylor Regional is a great hospital! I love the staff all of them are so friendly I have worked with some of them. When I first went to Taylor I didn’t know anyone and I had to take my Dad to the ER when he had covid and the nurses and Dr were constantly asking me was I okay because they knew I had to work the next day and it was getting late I was by myself with my dad but luckily he was discharged then also a few days later my grandma had to bring him back and while he was in the ER they made sure they kept me updated while I was over at work ! I love the friendliness of the staff and when I was in the ER everyone made sure to keep my dad in the loop until he got there!

Dr. Washington is the WORST! rather travel 2 hours away than visit the ER location again. He treated me lower than low, and going to the medical board will get you nowhere so I rather try to warn others that if you go to this ER make sure he is not on staff because if you want him to make you feel lower than dirt for coming then by all means go, but he was supposed to be there to help but instead made me feel like I was a burden.

4 AM, my brother in law goes in because he has trouble breathing. First, they want to do an EKG, but the machine doesn't work. Then they checked vitals that they had to jiggle wires to make work. This is no joke, folks. A so called doctor comes in, stands at the door, never examines my bil and he's never seen again. Finally, a nurse swabs his nose and bil is told he has RSV. it's contagious but they don't give him any medicine. No perscription. Nothing. Told him to see his family doctor. On Monday. So he could get pneumonia between now and then with no medical care whatsoever from a medical facility. If you don't provide medical services you need to shut down. Close your shameful doors. And you call yourself a hospital ER. Save the trouble. Find a real ER with REAL doctors and nurses, with REAL working equipment. This is not the place.

this hospital didn’t used to be the way it is now. I was getting blood drawn last week , I think it was the lab manager ,the way she was talking to her employees was very unprofessional. She seemed to be a bully I have been coming to this hospital for over 20 years. I was very surprised how these employees were treated, they need to look for another lab manager in my opinion. I had to go to the Er and I was treated very well , the doctor and the nurses were very professional and super nice. I think the CEO needs to look into how some of these managers treat their employees . I think it would shock him or her . Bad managers can make for a toxic work environment and bad for business.
