If I could give 0 stars and leave a review I would. Extremely unprofessional employees. When facing customer questions, aggressive defensiveness is never the right way to go. Employees need to be trained on how to properly listen to customer concerns/complaints without hanging up the phone. If you do not know the answer to our question or do not know how to do your job, that is absolutely fine- just say that to save everyone the headache. This is especially crucial since you can no longer come into the office to make a payment or talk to anyone, which in and of it’s self makes the entire situation feel like a scam. Not to mention the other reviews here pointing out money going missing out of the “lock box”. Do better as a business, and if you are contemplating using them please find another business with better practices.

I dropped a check off at the office. After 11 days my check had not cleared the bank. I called to confirm that they had not lost the check. No one answered, so I left a message. I did not get a return call, so I called back and no one answered. I went by the office and they had a huge stack of checks that they had to go through that had not yet been posted. They did find my check in the stack and told me that it would be receipted that day. That was on Monday. This is Thursday and it still has not cleared the bank. Needless to say, I am not happy with their business practices. They are cheap, but is it really worth it. The board loves getting it cheap. However, I am by far not the first resident that is unhappy with their service. Luckily, I got a receipt when I left my check. However, since my visit to their office, they have sent a letter to all their associations that they manage that they now have their door locked and that you must make an appointment to come by their office. This would be nice. However, in my experience, you have difficulty getting them on the phone. You must drop your check in the lock box and not get a receipt. So, now I am almost forced to do a bank draft. Because even if I send my check by mail 2 weeks before it is due I cannot be assured that it will get receipted in time to avoid a late fee. What a way to do business.

Extremely rude AND not helpful at all. Will not return calls or emails. I see why they have such a low rating. I sell real estate and feel sorry for those condo owners and other agents that have to deal with them to get information about their properties.

St. John’s has decided to lock their door on their customers! We can no longer enter the building to leave our HOA/COA dues along with our outrageous Assessment payments. We are now told to put our payments in an unlocked mailbox at their front door and it would be checked daily. I will be leaving over one thousand dollars a month in an unlocked box! If there was a mail slot on the building that dropped my checks directly and safely into their office I ‘might’ feel a bit better about all of this. Maybe this is better than having to face the rath of Dorothy Spears who is the most unprofessional person I have had the displeasure of dealing with during my 6 years of living at The Enclave!!!

Dorothy is very rude!!! If I could give a zero, I would. When we go to the HOA meetings and a question is asked, she starts yelling at people like we are all below her. She does not answer the phones for people that she doesn't like or people that go against her. She also will not provide paperwork to owners that she is legally supposed to provide, if she doesn't like them. This is not just how I feel, it is most of our over 100 unit owners. I have expressed my feelings about firing her company and go with someone who can treat us like human beings. She also leaves the room to count the owners votes for board of directors. Why does she leave the room when she has a desk in the room where she is already seated.

This is 2024. There is no reason I should have to mail in a check to pay HOA dues. They aren't even capable of taking a credit card in their office, in person. Cash or check only.
I called to ask about paying by credit card, and left messages with no return call. Forgot about it until my late notice showed up a couple of weeks later. When I tried to call to dispute the late fee, again, had to leave a message with never a return call. Waited for my next notice, and they have an additional late fee, but it's a different ammount than the 1st? I cannot understand why anyone would use a backwards Company like St John's for anything. Well, maybe they are super cheap, because I would hate to think they were getting paid premium money for the sub-standard services they provide.

Dorothy is very unprofessional and rude. Yells at people. Uses the tactic to yell loud when someone is trying to say something at our meetings so that person cannot be heard. President is long time friend of St. John's and does nothing to correct the situation. Board of Directors does nothing. Our last audit stated that some receipts were not kept. She walks out of room to count ballots but since there is a lack of trust in St. John's Business Services do not feel that they are being fairly counted.

Update: Dorothy came to our HOA annual meeting and began to yell at me as I was addressing the HOA Board officers. She called myself and my wife horrible people in front of the board and would not stop yelling. The board asked her to stop yelling but she would not. All because they send bills late and inaccurate which we were asking for to be corrected.

Very Unprofessional. Funds are being sent in for various monthly charges such as Insurance, HOA fees and Hurricane Deductible Assessment. Sent in total amount due, broken down by category and St. Johns did not apply the funds to appropriate categories. Due to there various multiple errors, it has caused late payment charges from the Fort Morgan Town Homes Owners Association, Inc. Called and asked for late fee to be removed due to their error and told would have to call our president of Association, Larry who did not reply. Called today 5 times and St. Johns did not answer their phone. Called from a different area code and answered immediately. We asked for a detailed breakdown of all payments for 2020 to April 2021 and was told it would be emailed immediately to us after pulling the ledger. This is Totally unacceptable for an Accounting Firm.
