I just recently utilized Springs Insurance Brokers, and I was thrilled with my experience. Heather was awesome, she responded quickly and had new policies written up for me within a day! Turns out I was paying way too much for home and auto so I’m thrilled to start saving some money. Trust me instead of trying to find the best rate yourself, you want to utilize them!

Harassment! I was not going to leave a detailed review, because if you read the negative comments about heather (the owner), it's going to say pretty much the same thing! Rude, condescending, arrogant and unprofessional. Right when she answered the phone and I explained my situation, I had the phone on speaker phone because I was cooking, but everyone inside of the room heard the exasperation in her voice. Like I was asking her to go out of the guidelines of what her job entails, when all I was asking to do was to be shopped around for a quote on full coverage. JUST to get a quote on full coverage I was told it was going to take hours, so she would contact me later in the day. She took down no personal details, but eventually got back to me and told me that I should stick with the policy I already have. If she would have asked me for those details she would have known that I was on a completely different type of insurance policy and that wasn't an option. Eventually I was told that I basically had no options with an insurance company unless I went with a 6-month payment of around $2,000, even though I had just got off the phone with a couple of other insurance brokers (which only took 5 to 10 minutes, NOT HOURS) and I was given multiple reasonable quotes from different insurance. Once I caught the drift that she didn't want to do her job I decided to just let it go and posted the one-star review. Since then she has sent me emails, and when I didn't respond to her emails she sent me direct messages to my phone. It's comparative to one of the negative reviews on here where her husband jumped in and started jumping down someone's throat for leaving a bad review on her customer service etiquette. Hence the 1 star review. You'll definitely get better customer service elsewhere and you may end up leaving with the insurance that you are looking for.

P.S Heather, the woman that you are going off on in the reviews is actually my TEENAGE daughter who I was making the call for because I bought her a vehicle off the lot and I'm planning on having it parked until she finishes her driving classes and converts her permit into a regular license. NOT acceptable. Which is just another example of how you need to work on your customer service skills, ESPECIALLY when you are the owner!

Heather is outstanding. She will review your policy to ensure you're getting adequate coverage. This is our second year with Springs Insurance Brokers and they are excellent. Our rates went up after the first year, so I called SIB and they agreed we should shop around. They found me a much more affordable rate with a great company. We're getting more coverage than before (our needs have changed) and we are satisfied with our rates. Heather went over every single element of our needs and customized our policy to meet them. Even in moments of frustration (huge expenses stress me immensely), they were kind, informative, supportive, and professional. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Heather did a VERY thorough search to find us a great price...she beat out 20 other companies. But not only that, because price is only one factor. She did a phenomenal job of explaining everything thoroughly, making it make sense to me, who only thinks of insurance once a year, made it a very smooth transition from the other company in the middle of a buy/sell...and I found this to be the easiest change of insurance companies in 44 years! I am SO GLAD I found Heather and Springs Insurance Brokers!

We've used Springs Insurance Brokers for three years, and we've never been impressed but it was easier just to stick with them. However, our latest interaction with them has caused us to move to another broker, and their poor service cost us money. We contacted Springs over the fall to ask them to shop around for home, auto, and rv policies to see if we could get a better deal. They told us our renewal period was in December so it was best to wait to shop in November. I specifically asked, should I call you in November or will you contact me, and they said they would contact me. Of course, that didn't happen so I went ahead and gave them a call in mid-November and asked them to price for us. Our agent, Heather, emailed us that Nationwide was currently the best deal for us, she included no evidence that she had actually even priced anything, I definitely expected to have some kind of pdf or documents attached to the email. I emailed back asking if she could please send us the companies and rates/coverages she had priced so we could take a look at them, and I also asked her if she had considered unbundling our policies to see if that could save money. She said that bundling provided the best deal because of the bundling discount. She did reply with a pdf of companies she had looked at with a comparison to our current policy. Wonderful, based on the numbers she sent us it did in fact make sense for us to renew in a few weeks with Nationwide so we decided to proceed that way. Imagine our surprise then when our insurance renewed and our homeowner's insurance had almost doubled! We made it very clear to Heather that we were shopping around to get the best deal with similar coverage to decide whether we would renew with Nationwide, however she did not even look to see if our policy would be increasing when it renewed. We (and our insurance broker!) were comparing companies using inaccurate numbers. Lucky for us, I found an excellent insurance agent through Westco that was in fact able to find us more affordable insurance and was not hesitant to consider unbundling to see if it might actually save us money (which it did). Unfortunately I still had to go through the process of cancelling our newly renewed policies through Nationwide and I will have to wait for reimbursement, all because of Springs Brokers inaccurate information. Not to mention, with Westco I get to actually call my insurance agent directly, as opposed to Springs Insurance which is recording prompts you have to keep going through before you can actually talk to a person. Just listen to their recording when you call them, definitely seems like they cater towards a few specific insurance companies too. Really disappointed in Heather's inability to take the time to make sure the numbers she was comparing were even accurate, and the lack of customer centric service. If you are considering working with a broker in Colorado Springs, I would definitely recommend going with Westco over Springs Insurance Brokers.

We have insurance for several rental homes, auto, and umbrella policies through Springs Insurance. We frequently have questions for Heather, and she is always patient and thorough. She also saves us money wherever she can. We are very pleased with the service at Springs Insurance Brokers!

Had a great phone conversation with Springs Insurance Brokers. They were very friendly and honest. The reason I couldn't give them 4 stars is because they were helpful only to the extent of me doing business with them. I got the impression that I could shop other "high risk" insurance companies to find a better quote because the person I was speaking with would talk about "trying other companies" but was hesitant to recommend anyone else. I then called my friend who works in insurance, she recommended an amazing company (I won't mention their name out of respect for Springs Insurance Brokers) but I did get a better quote and ended up signing with them instead. Had Springs Insurance Company recommended this other company to me from the beginning, I likely would have signed up with them instead, even if there was a small difference in price. Overall great and I highly recommend them ESPECIALLY if you're not a "high risk" driver.
