If I could give this place negative stars I would. I have had a claim in the world since March 2023. The claims examiner is not only unprofessional. These supervisors don't call back. This was an orange door claim for Public Storage where they damaged over 10k worth of stuff. Building flooded, had no climate control despite them saying it did, had rat feces everywhere in my unit. I paid these people faithfully and was forced to add their insurance. Which was thru Sedgwick. I hate this company and they need to be sued. Till date they still have not paid me my money for that unit. And PS kept my personal information. Both of those companies are terrible and especially Sedgwick. No way to contact people if you have an issue and no response to claims for months at a time and I thought they couldn't do that. My next step is to report them to the BBB

The worst company and customer service I have ever dealt with. For years you would think this place will improve or help with your case. Lack of communication and customer service skills, instead of helping they stress you out even more. Claims get denied and closed with out sending notices or communicating. They say they call and whatever but I have records and call records, thats not true. They wait until you call to give you the news. Talked to 3 different reps including a specialist that handles the case and got nowhere. Everyone with different stories and opinions. Everyone is on a different page. My Dr. Said no stress what so ever. 3 weeks going on 4 weeks with no pay later they denied my case because Sedgwick themselves put the wrong dates. Horrible company to deal with and if there's an alternative please help out and reach out to me to work with another company. If they had a ranking for no starts that's what I will rank. And base in the reviews I'm not the only one.

Completely uncommunicative sham of a company with a broken claim submission website. Will do anything to avoid paying a claim. Don't expect to receive money from them even when you show all the required evidence.

Coordination of client and insurance policy holder is not disclosed for contact in resolving claims. Sedgwick staff is not with consistent ethics. To many client and Insurance policy holder in individual and group, locations, phone numbers. Staff is not knowledgeable to assisting because directories are out dated, phone listing and contact listing are out dated. I accumulated 10 phone numbers to locations across California and States of USA to get the contact info to file and service a claim against the client and Insurance policy holder. I have not been able to pin point the phone number, names, addresses nor policy number and claim/claim file #/file # is useless but they accept the number for phone recording conversation records. They withhold or reject disclosures required for plaintiff to file court documents and or have all misleading knowledge to pursue and rely on in applying to documents of court filings. Their correspondence is not consistent from staff to staff, they will close a claim pretentiously, they have to many letters mailed every step thru a unknown process they call communication in which most are not in a office but at their housing being Staff unsupervised with multiple delays so leave a message and phone hours are not with Staff of these only Corporate business hours. You really don't need an attorney when Liability is obvious but they interpret documents erroneously and shall not interpret what is written. So a letter in multiple directions of addresses even to the President/Owners of Sedgwick perhaps will be an eye opening and appropriate approach for answers and remedy.

Food poison from ralphs brookhurst Ellis fountain valley California. Tuna fish salad from made in ralphs deli contained metal like staple. Urgent care then cat scan. Sedgwick representative sounded off by laughing at my experience with ralphs. I tell you what? Hasnt been first time with sedgwick. My experience they've hired like minded or hive mind sick in the head sedgwick tools running around in their underwear spanking each other telling them how good they are.

These other reviews are not lying. This is a terrible company. They are always conveniently unavailable. They will not help you at all even if you have proof of a fraudulent claim. Stay away if possible! Good luck if you get stuck, you are doomed.

- all Stars .......Not good. I was told i have a year/half to live. Since 5/2022 everything is on hold. Not even released to EDD. . as a denial Saying "because i didn't have the excuses i gave my employer 3 years prier to give Sedgwick, . I needed the letter i gave my employer..... . So i cant pay rent , food nor even pay for basic needs. How do you work and pay into insurance only to take less on your check and not be supported in a time that really never thought was coming, (insurance) all that was insured was money out of my check. Now im weak stage C heart failure. Blood clots in lungs. only to be stressed. Sedgwick failed to even pay for a bandaid with no attention to the smallest needs . Even with supporting prof, No hope of relief? I only paid for nothingness. Very Disappointed. Money out of my check Im a father who did this for my children in mind Financially entrusted into something that trusted only into my paychecks to insure there own companies.
