My fiancé and I have put in multiple maintenance request to a never ending list of problems.

The most important being our heater not working in our unit since November. They first supplied a space heater, when temperatures dropped to -10 degrees; and yet no heater was fixed so they supplied another heater and I still had to use my oven to try to have sufficient heat.

We have not slept in our own bedroom. It is freezing cold and there is ice and snow on the inside, even after trying to install window insulation out of our own pockets.

Management never responds, calls back or follows up as they promise.

We’re taking the next steps to ensure we get legal actions.

Update 2: we been here for 3 months
they never fixed the underlying issues. We did get the profuse water addressed but none of the repairs promised to us were completed and then they sold the building without telling anyone until the 30th of the month. Eva, you're incompetent. In English, in Spanish, in braille, in sign language you are by far the most incompetent person I've ever had the displeasure of speaking with on a weekly basis. I hope real realty is going bankrupt. If not, don't worry I'm doing my part. I will be following up on that legal action. I'm fr fr not done with yall yet

Update: im about to sue you all. I should have just never moved in. Ive been here 4 days and i wake up to a profuse leak in my ceiling in the living room and kitchen. Covering everything. You think everybody here is a crackhead but i promise if this stuff isnt worked out im bringing every tool in my arsenal to address slum lords. I paid my money straight up. I signed my lease. I brought my receipts, and yall let me move in somewhere that's not safe. I could have lost my phone and laptop to the amount of water that came through my CEILING.

Update #2 called the emergency line 3 times and dispatch has not been able to reach on call maintenance and more leaks have come up. Despite the rain stopping, now the entire bedroom is full of water and still leaking profusely. A new leak has also materialized in the living room.

you would think that if i’m moving in tomorrow, i would have a lease by now. it would appear you don’t want new tenants

I can't wait til my LEASE IS UP. Only been here 9 months the first few months was ok cause it was turning into summer but now it's winter and they half stepping with the heat. They have radiators witch was leaking had to be replaced but my family had to be cold for DAYS until they finally came out. Once it was fix the heat wasn't coming on. But when they came out he told me it can't be below "68 degrees in the house. That's still cold over here by the lake at the end the manager company basically told me to buy a heater rent is to over priced for that DON'T NOT RENT FROM THEM

STAY AWAY!!!! The lady that works at the office is useless & arrogant. This is one of the worst property management companies to exist. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Their workers are sketchy and don’t understand English, on of the property managers is sketchy, hides his face from my ring camera when knocking or ringing the bell for random things like the gas company came out to check the gas lines . They let crackheads, and sketchy people ruin the apartment complexes. They DO NOT MAINTAIN THEIR PROPERTIES, THEY HAVE MICE/RODENT INFESTATIONS AT THEIR PROPERTIES, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR RENTER’S. I can’t wait until they get taken to court, sued & have their renter’s license & business license taken away. There was a stabbing a few months ago at one of their properties, there’s always people screaming, banging on walls, loose cats. The owners are complete pathetic idiots that only care about making money and don’t care about anything or anyone. Please do yourself a favor and do not rent from them.

Do not do business with them! They lie and give you the run around and never fulfill the maintenance requests. My living room ceiling was damaged and chipping due to all the snow and rain in February of 2021 take a guess when it was finally repaired March of 2023. There was a carbon monoxide leak last year and if it was not for the fact I could smell something weird who knows what could have happened. There was no carbon monoxide detectors installed in any of the apartments and they finally gave them out 2 months after the fact....only because the fire department had to come out and evacuate the entire building (almost 15+ apartments). The cleanliness is despicable they do the bare minimum when it comes to cleaning the hallways but that outside landscape area is A+ which leads people to think the inside is as well trust me it's not!!! I have so many other stories but long story short DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

Fortunately for me, my lease will be ending at the end of this month. It is to my knowledge that this company owns more than just one property. I resided in their Bridgeport location for a full 12 months and it has been the worst experience as a renter.

They take their time responding to calls and emails. If you do happen to reach someone, they have an attitude. My unit was supposed to have curtains put up prior to my move in date - didn't receive them until after two weeks. Filters need to be changed that took an entire week. They do
NOT care about your ant problems and will tell you to go to Home Depot and purchase ant spray. I HAVE ALL OF MY EMAILS SAVED. I was once locked out of my apartment while it was snowing and rather than someone being able to come and let me in, the maintenance manager stated she didn't have a spare/master key and yelled at me that I needed to call a lock smith. You will miss days of work because they refuse to send people to plow when all of Chicago is fully aware of a weeks worth of snow. You will also slip and fall. JACK AND DANIELA are the only two people who have been of use since I have lived here and are the only two people who answered my calls and were kind.

I highly advise anyone to avoid this company. Unless you prefer unprofessional people, you are better off elsewhere.

The building is rat infested everyday there is three mice in my apartment they installed new mailboxes over a week ago I still don’t a key I can’t check my mail the maintenance man will not answer his phone I’m scared of mice my fridge is leaking the took forever to hook up the stove maintenance man never cleaning the fridge this is a horrible experience and they think I’m paying 900$ a month roaches every where and gnats in the bathroom
