FRAUD ALERT!!! I called on March 3rd to find my payoff balance, I clearly explained that the payment for this month March has NOT been taken out yet. I was placed on hold when he came back he explained it wouldn't show up until the following day and actually be deducted from my account. On the 4th it shows payment made, loan paid in full. The following day the 5th CashNetUSA deducted another payment. I called the lady who took my call I explained what all had happened and I wanted to know what's going on. She's telling me I owed that payment once again I tried to explain everything that had been told to me. She put me on hold came back and apologized and explained that everything is fine. Today March 14 2025 CashNetUSA is saying I owe two payments. I have their email stating loan paid in full on March 6th. Total idiots.

PLS is very good, and the Customer Service Representatives are very good as well! On the other hand, I do have a complaint for Corporate on behalf of PLS locations. That is, why aren't there any convenient locations in Waltham, Mass. ; Watertown, Mass. ; Cambridge, Mass. ; or even in Allston-Brighton(02134), Mass.? There should be a PLS location in Waltham, MA., because there are a whole bunch of people that need to cash their checks, and they have to travel to other farther locations in order to cash their checks or pay their bills.
Corporate, please look into setting up a PLS location in the Waltham, MA. , location, or one of the other locations mentioned. Thank you!

The location that they have in Greensboro NC is very unprofessional the manager threats you like you are a criminal in needs to be let go I went there the first time they charged me 138 dollars to cash my check and I had a few more to try and cash and she hit me with dumb questions like my check aren’t real I had a few checks but all were real she seen me come in again today and she left said she was going to lunch and told the other lady that was helping me to go to lunch also needless to say I was waiting over 45 minutes to try in cash my checks only for them to tell me to come back later because they couldn’t get ahold of the company that the checks were from after they gave my checks back the police walk in the door as I was walking out I get in my car and get ready to leave one of the cops got behind as I was leaving this place is a joke I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!

I received excellent service from the PLS at 5200 West North Avenue and I received excellent customer service from an associate named Bea. I came in to cash a check and she presented me with the X-pectations card conversion from Visa to MasterCard.

I love it when I receive excellent customer service as l have worked in retail for 12 years and I consider the customer to be very important in every aspect. Bea had a beautiful smile and presented herself as a beacon of what real customer service is. You have a keeper there and make sure she continues to shine

a location of theirs on 4400 armitage they have employees who will charge you how they want for 5 dollars in quarters will take 2 dollars or say they will only change 3 ...they make fun of customers they have no prices posted, thieves with diplomas and I make a report at 311 too

My daughter received a phone call that there was fraud activity on her card. Yes, she has direct deposit going on a card. She cancelled the card and was issued a new one. When her next direct deposit was to go through PLS has no information as to where her money is. They are constantly telling her to call back in 24hrs. They are telling her the issue needs to go through IT. It has been 5 days, over 1200hrs later, and she is still getting shafted about her money. I am speaking for my daughter cause she is extremely upset about her money which is close to $700. Not to mentioned she has bills and a baby to take care of. All customer service is doing is reciting what is scripted for them to say instead of resolving the issue. Our next move will be the attroney general office and the BBB. Do not do business with PLS.

I made a review in past week or so about having to wait, but I want to make it clear Lucy and staff are the best tellers the store on Dempster and Dodge, they are always so helpful,. I had a wet check from hard day at work and Lucy went out of her way to help me out she deserves a raise I've been cashing my check here for+10yrs

To whom it may concern
I went to pls check cashers on the 3rd to get a money order for my rent. I went to the counter and was able to cash my check for 774.19 and asked for a money order of 1930 of which i handed them $1165 more
They handed me a money order which I put in the envelope with the rest of my money I had at hand and left. As soon as i arrived home i realised they handed me a wrong money order because the amount was incorrect. I drove back within the next hour or so back to rectify the situation.
Thankfully, the manager who had counted the money and was supervising the other tellers was still on duty and issued me another one for the same initial amount of 1930,which i took home and dropped it in apartment rent box
On the 15th , I got an eviction letter from my apartment for return payment. It was then they showed me a copy which showed that the money order had been stopped and that i realised that something was very wrong. At first I thought it was an error and even the apartment complex was strange because a money order is certified funds,which is very rare. I drove back to the same PLS location to try and get an explanation for the issue. I explained to the manager on duty the urgency of them fixing their error because I was very concerned about getting evicted and paying all the extra fees, I even went the extra mile to let them know I have a child at home whom I can't explain why we are being evicted right before christmas. Unfortunately it did not go well because the manager could not give me a definite answer to why it was stopped. I then called their customer service number and explained the situation,after which they advised me to wait for the district manager to call me within 24-48 hours, which has not happened till today
I would like to state that on that same day(15th) the manager offered to give me 1100 to fix the situation in which I refused because it is less than what I paid. Then she also stated that the store had less money on the 3rd when they were closing up which i think is very suspicious.
I have been calling the customer service number every day from the 15th-19th and no one is able to assist me which led me to file a police report for theft because I believe what they are doing is fraudulent and I feel targeted.
I have a receipt to show my purchase and they have cameras which I believe should make this matter resolved easily and quickly but the store is not communicating with me, I have sent messages on all the social media platforms to see if anyone would respond but to no avail.
They gave me a number for the district manager but she was unresponsive as well.
I would like to also state that I had to pay 2153 on the 18th to avoid being evicted. I don't believe they understand how much of a loss it is that I had to pay rent twice within a 15 day period. And late fees incurred from the 3rd til the 15th. It is a very hard time right now with trying to get used to the normality of covid and i barely make that much because unfortunately work has not been doing well financially too.
I had to take some time off work so I could go to their other location at 8900 westheimer rd houston tx 77063 for assistance.They sounded willing to help over the phone but as soon as i arrived nothing was done and i was asked to wait for a phone call they from the district manager.
It has been emotionally stressful and financially draining dealing with this by this matter. I have been working as much as my job allows me to make sure that my family especially my son is ok and I can't even afford to buy him a christmas present no matter how small because of the uncertainty of getting a refund, not to mention that I am behind on all of the money I lost to pay my rent twice, along with new penalties and a bad image from my apartment management. I am worried about paying this month’s rent, now.
I'm hoping we can resolve this peacefully and get out money back as well as fees incurred in the process.
