A real rip off...
I had to use them when moving goods from Singapore to Europe and pay about 2000$ for my shipment to be insured. We had a few items broken or missing. Nothing very important but worth being claimed:
- their process is ok and works
- I challenged them on a few items that were lost to be reimbursed on replacement value and applying a % of depreciation. They finally came back with almost the replacement value.
- then my claim was not high around 230 $ - then they apply a 100 $ deductible (which my moving company will reimburse as the insurance I subscribed was without deductible.
- then to wire the money they would charge 50 $...with all fintech in the world they could not find a cheap way to reimburse claims

at the end in the same situation a customer would get back 50$ on a claim of 230$ after paying 2000 $ premium!
it is not healthy and unfair for those who buy their service.
I cannot imagine if it were a piece of Art work that was broken or stolen - the fight it would have been.
I will not recommend them but I am sure that moving companies or transporters get back commissions.

The worst insurance broker to ship goods. I shipped my vehicle through La Rosa del Monte back in September, 2023. I had to pay for shipping insurance and PAC Global is the insurance the shipping company works with. My car arrived to PR with a huge dent on the back door passenger (right side). Since December, 2023. I’ve been dealing with PacGlobal to pay for damages. The body shop estimated almost $900 for the damage, but PAC Global is only paying for $600. So I’m stuck paying for $300 when my car was originally in excellent shape and been super frustrated since Jan 8,2024 on “a pending status waiting for the brokers to meet and authorize my payment “. These people are a complete joke!!!!
My advice, use your own insurance company or look for one on your own if you need to ship anything overseas. I was not aware I needed additional insurance when I was going to ship my car, if I would have known, I would’ve done my homework.
I added two pics of the door with the damage and a pic of the car before being shipped.

This is the worst insurer ever. In fact I wonder whether they are an insurer at all or just a scam. An item of furniture was broken traveling from Amsterdam to Dublin nearly a year ago and despite being fully insured with them and the claim approved they have not paid - nor do tbey answer emails. Very upsetting and frankly scandalous

7 months in a Claim, and aferre been authorized and the adjuster finish, they asked two more months to pay!!! The worst company ever. My Contact Gabriela Velazquez took 15 day to respond an email, and never here from her again even though I sent a bunch of emails mails. They didn’t care about the customer service at all

1 star because I can’t do 0 stars. It’s been 6 months and although my claim has been approved I haven’t received any money yet. Never use them for insurance.

I wish there is an option for negative ratings. One star is too high!

I moved several times around the globe and never had problems with my damage claims. This insurance was the worst ever when it comes to the claim process. They took long time to reply, their web page is not user friendly, they argued that a single item was not listed and refused to compensate for damaged particle board furniture. Finally it took several months to receive the money, after i accepted that they offered less than half of my actual damage. Besides the 300 USD deductible, they also charged an additional 70 USD for transaction fees, ridiculous!

If you can find another insurance company for your move, do that!

6 months later and I'm still waiting on my claim to be processed. They're thieves.
Avoid SDC Shipping too, as they contract out to these scammers.

Terrible… it’s been 5 months and they haven’t refunded back the amount for the insured moving furniture that got damaged during the move! Everytime I call, they keep saying that they’re waiting for “approval from the underwriters.”
