I want to further add to my review by saying that if you make the mistake of actually going with Origin (BIG MISTAKE!) that make sure any communication between you and whoever your case gets assigned to is in writting so you have proof of everything they say to you and you say to them. In my case, what was presented to me as payment plan was not what was verbally commnunicated to me. In my case, I was told that I would have to pay $2000/month for the next 6 years. Anne Marie Meingast was my case representative from Origin. I had in email told her that I could not afford $2000/month to which she told me that she would try to get it down for $1500/month. What she failed to communicate to me was that the payment would be $1500/month for the first 12 months and then go to $4700/month. What I am telling you is that by you giving Origin power of attorney essentially allows them to do whatever they want and all they want to do is take your money and close the case as quickly as possible. Please, please listen to me.....get an actual tax attorney if you want true representation. I wish I would have done this years back when my problems had started. Instead I went with Optima (which was another huge mistake) and then with Origin (which was an even bigger mistake).

Absolutely the biggest disappointment in a company and value. I was fast talked into what they could do and after 2 years of paying "installments" no resolution was ever resolved. Instead, Origin Tax took the longest time they could so they could keep charging monthly installments. After 2 years they told me they were terminating the agreement with no explanation! Worst experience ever! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Origin Tax was very professional and accomplished what I asked them to do, get my IRS tax issue resolved. They were able to get my complete IRS tax debt absolved after a long 10+ years of payment plans that were getting me no where. I would absolutely recommend Origin Tax for any IRS tax issues.
