Heat wasn't working so we had a larger firm come out who normally works on our units. Quote seemed high so wanted a second opinion but needed it quick because it's December and we need heat. Aaron was at our home in a few hours the same day I called. Diagnosed the problem and determined we were quoted for two parts that were unnecessary to fix the problem. Larger firm said it would be almost 5 days before parts were in and it could be fixed. Aaron was out the very next morning with part in hand and we had heat working again. Saved me 3 days with no heat and over $1,000 in unnecessary parts. Larger firm is fired. Aaron is my guy now!

It takes a lot for me to give a negative review. After two years, it is time.
1st issues - after spending thousands on a new system, these things happened.
A. had to call them back out to cover an entire edge of a duct that was on the far side of the system (guess they thought I would not go up and check), while also waiting 3 weeks for them to come a fix a foot long scratch they made on the ceiling in my living room.
B. Both in early summer '22 and '23 had to take my wife and baby to a hotel for multiple nights due to the compressor (on a brand new unit?) going bad. Yes, this happened TWICE.

Fast-forward to now. After two years of my bills being HIGHER the last two years than the previous 4, after installing an all-new HVAC, I finally decided to investigate further. I just assumed with the two hot summers and rising costs, it was just unfortunate. However, after going in attic and looking everything over (yes, I should have done all this before, I admit. I guess you just figure HVAC people know what they are doing) I discover MULTIPLE (8-10 spots) leakages of cool air coming both from poorly sealed ducts and from poorly sealed aluminum at the actual box itself.
If you really look at it, it is simply thin gauge aluminum, formed together into a box, screwed together, and sealed with Matic sealant and maybe some tape. I could instruct an 8 year old to put it together and seal it. However, either due to the laziness of the crew, or more specifically, the laziness or lack of oversight by the management, it was simply SHODDY WORK, AT BEST.
So, I go and purchase sealant and a brush and decide to crawl around on the wood, insulation and dirt, sweating my a$$ off, and doing the SIMPLE job that these guys at "On the Spot air" would not do, all trying to save energy and my money from being released into the hot attic, instead of being contained in a proper HVAC circulation system.
All I heard from the guy who sold this to me was how he was so cocky about the "5 star reviews" they had. Get the eff outta here with that.
I took 15-20 pics, and have attached just a few of those.
I still have to go back up there and try to make my way to other parts of the system that are hard to get to, just to see what other shortcuts they made.

Well, the 5 star reviews are for real! My 23 year old system died on a Fri evening. I searched for quotes online and happened to see an ad for On The Spot HVAC on Instagram. Received 4 quotes and dug a little deeper. The reviews for On The Spot were so good it was hard to believe but decided to ask for a quote. Cody came by Monday and looked over my old HVAC system and gave us a few recommendations on how to improve system performance when a new one is installed, but no pressure to make a decision. Their price was very competitive and the Trane system offered was what we wanted so we accepted their offer.

We were without AC for 6 days and even though On The Spot was busy they rearranged their schedule and installed our new Trane system a day early, and they did it all in 3 hours including adding 5 new air ducts. Matt and his team did a great job installing and cleaning up afterwards. It is hard to imagine doing the total job so quickly but they worked efficiently and made it happen. We could not be more pleased. The new system is exactly what was promised and works great and Matt wrapped things up by helping connect the new WiFi thermostat to our phones. We are are very pleased with the equipment and service and highly recommend On The Spot HVAC. Photos of our old and new system are below.

This is our 4th attempt with a local A/C Contractor to diagnose the problem with our A/C system that we had been struggling with, for a whole year now. And On The Spot HVAC guys were able to fix it. Doyle was able to send a team the same day I called for help. Jordan was very thorough and methodical in his approach to detect the problem. Our TRANE system was still under warranty so once he diagnosed the problem he clearly explained what options we have. In my case, their quote for repair was quite fair and once I okayed the option he was able to quickly get the parts from TRANE and within few days returned to our place to replace the components. He spent a solid two hours to go step-by-step to replace and recalibrate our system to a fully functional state. I waited for a whole month before posting this review. I'm thoroughly impressed by their work and commitment to excellent customer satisfaction. It is very tough these days to find a reliable contractor for A/C systems. I learned it the hard way as I tried with three different companies before them. On the Spot guys earned their reputation and respect.
