Mission Federal is great. Been a member for more than 20 years. Used to have accounts at the big banks, but no more. Fair, accessible, and convenient.

Horrible credit union, that app looks and acts like it was around when dinosaurs roamed. The representatives are all snobby and rude. The only reason I went with them for my car loan was because they USED TO have great rates. Which reminds me, when I got my loan through them they misplaced one of the papers I signed and called 20 times in a few hrs while I was at work. When I was able to get back to them she insisted I had the paper, so I take more time out of my schedule to take all my papers for her to raid and low and behold I don't have it. Well turns out she had the paper after all. I've been to 3 different locations in north county and they all had the same type of rude representatives that act like they are doing you a favor for letting you bank with them. Guess what we're choosing to bank with you and now I'm choosing to bank elsewhere. Credit unions aren't all people make them out to be. Hate to say it, as much as I hate what they represent BofA has been much better to me and makes fixing errors or disputing charges far easier then mfcu.

Staci was excellent. I was a bit stressed going in with my situation but she made my visit very pleasant. She is very personable yet professional and doesn't make me feel like I'm just another customer there. Love her!

Really surprised by the negative reviews. I have had nothing but good experiences with this branch. I have worked with Anastacia (Staci) and Karen--both have great customer service and go out of their way to answer questions/conerns. We have multiple account through them (checkings, savings, mortgage, heloc, auto loans, credit card). None of which we have ever had issues with. Yes they do require you to come in with those named on your account to make changes (but I see this as a great fraud prevention). I rather deal with this than be sorry later. I also love their rewards program both referral and random winner one.

Ever since this COVID crap started they cut their hours.
They close early when they used to be open until 5 p.m. M - Thurs. and until 6 p.m. on fridays.
Getting tired of this.
I checked into Navy Federal Credit Unions hours, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. M -F as well as 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Saturday hours are awesome.
I opened a business account there.
If Mission Federal does not change their hours back to normal operation by December I AM OUT!
I will go through the hassle of moving to Navy Federal, bonus for Navy Federal is they have Offices across the Country.

Stay away from this Branch!!! I was told by the branch manger Karen Stowe that I needed to get a power of attroney to pay off a loan on my sons car despite being on his account. I spent time and money to comply and was told by Anastavia Kurbrock the assit manger that it was not necessary. I told Anastavia I wanted to process the Power of attorney and they me tell to fill out their power of attorney form and said it needed to notarized and the person would not be avaivlable for 4 days. This person was manger Karen Stowe and she was right there. So I took the form and payed to have it notarised ! Why? Then when working with Anastavia Kurbrock she tells thaat I should never have a car loan with Mission Federal and she continued to rant that I should bring my son in to do this banking. I had to physically hold up my hands and tell her to stop it. After repeated attempts she stopped the rant. It is not her postion to tell my how to do my banking when I have the aurthority to do what I requested. I then requested that she sign a DMV doc to realse the bank lein on the payed off loan. She called Tracy at Mission Federal DMV dept and recieved permission to sign the form. She then took into Karen Stowe to have it notarized. Karen and Anatasia go to Karen office and stay there for 30 minutes. I then get call from my son saying they called him and questioned him if I should be on the account and if he had given me power of attorney. They also called legal at Msssion Fedreral . I then went to office and asked what was the problem and Anatasia starts crying. I ask what the problem is and she says if I sign your DMV form I can loose my job. I say find have Karen Stowe sign and she refuses. Karen wants the head of Mission Federal DMV Mike to give the aurthority with implication that Tracey approval of the same DMV Dept was not correct. All this time Anatasia continues to sob. I tell them I am going outside and when they get Mike the head of Mission Ferderal on the line get me. After mutlipe laps around the parking lot . Karen comes gets me and has Tracy and Mike from DMV on the line. They tell Karen to process the DMV form. This what Tracy told Anatasia a 1 1/2 hour ago. It made me feel like they thougth I was criminal. No one sorry we are bad from anyone. Only after I told Karen that Anatasia had told me that I should not have loan with Mission Federdal did she say sorry. Really Stay away! Check out the other 1 star reveiws. These people Karen Stowe and Anatashia do not know their jobs and are so afraid to act Anatashia cries!! This was the worse banking expeience in my 70 Years!! Stay away unless you like to be belittled and treated like a criminal!!!
