PX was always a great place to shop when I had Drill.
It's very disappointing that higher authority has decided to close it. Supposedly the building is old and in need of repairs which is what they rightfully should do rather than close it.
There are many personnel,
Active/Reserve/Retired Veterans and their families, that rely on this facility. To say they can just drive to MCS Pendleton or MCAS Miramar or LAX AFB is not so. The other day it took us over 3 hours to get to LAX one way which.is unacceptable. Even to JTFB Los Alamitos is a long drive.

The staff and venders are very nice and friendly, it's a great resource for Veterans and their families, and the prices are always lower than department stores. From the outset, It's not the greatest, most up-to-date place, but it serves its purpose.

My first time at the PX on March Air Force Base. It was a great experience. I purchased part of a uniform. I went there with two other friends and they made purchases also. The uniforms were at a reasonable price. But other items for sale in the store seem to be higher than stores outside the base.

Clean place. More like a convince store. Too strict at the entrance of the store, if you are already a service member no need to ask for my guests military ID.

Great prices, nice selection. Very helpful staff. You can call ahead. Good selection. Thanks to Grandpa Joe, the price has increased. They are closing on the 31st of August.

Curious why civilians aren't allowed to shop here when they let you walk right in? Not sure why other surplus stores allow it and not this one. It would have been nice to know that this was not open to the public.
