Maggie made my dreams come true!

I met Maggie last year when she helped my best friend buy his first home. As a 25 year-old, I reached out to Maggie with my dream of home ownership. She immediately helped me connect with others who could provide me guidance towards my goal. She gave me all the support I needed to plan and achieve my goal. Here I am half a year later, a homeowner.

Maggie is extremely knowledgeable and has a strong understanding of the market. Our experience with Maggie Aguilar to purchase a duplex turned out to be a nightmare.

First, she presented the property to my husband and I as her listing. But then later she would inform us that the owner wasn't paying for her to represent him.

Next, when agreeing to present our offer, Maggie didn't even bother to use proper documentation. Instead of us having an official bid delivered to the owner with our terms and signature, she just spoke to the owner verbally using the notes that my husband and I emailed, then attempted to relay the seller's response via text, which just led to a lot of confusion.

In an attempt to seek clarity, we called her on speakerphone to discuss the odd numbers that she discussed with the owner during negotiation, and once she realized how confusing her verbal presentation sounded (in addition, she was talking fast and not pronouncing her words very well), Maggie completely fell apart. Instead of being accountable about how poorly she was handling the matter, she didn't decided not to take any responsibility, and then just hung up the phone in my husband's face. This all while knowing we just experienced a death in our family that happened over 2 days ago.

Up until her errors, Maggie couldn't stop complimenting my husband for serving in the Air Force, and claimed her and her associate's mission was to help veterans. But in my opinion, it was only a ploy just to reel in our potential business.

We made sure we were fair and informed Maggie that we try to share our experiences, especially if people can learn from them.
