I was encouraged to write a review many different times and I tried to avoid it. Tina will contact you on the phone and her niceness is great and personable until you start to see the rates you're dealing with and want to go cheaper. What was once rapid response (which she's capable of when she's arguing with you) turned into basic laziness at getting around to things and you knowing too much.. She's traveling, under the weather, etc.. She's on her mobile..not the office, the call is windy and dropping out like you're talking to your aunt on the phone..

If you know her, she's a nice lady.. But this isn't the job for her, but I'm certain she makes a *killing* at commissions. She will not work with you if you want the minimum minimum.. Seems like she wants to gouge the wealthy.. If that's you, avoid her... And she's secretly judging you and just not saying. She wants to use her job to hob-nob and that's apparent. She operates like a real estate agent.

We have been very pleased with Tina Miceli as our house and car insurance agent for the past few years, after decades with our former agent and company. Honestly, we hadn't kept abreast of our coverage needs, and our former agent (whom we never met in person) didn't suggest any changes. When Tina offered to examine our insurance status, we appreciated the opportunity to get a professional review of our needs versus our coverage. She meticulously checked on a wide variety of options, explained current liability risks and laid out competitive prices to prevent our getting soaked if something happened. (And something always happens.) She sat down with us several times to understand our needs and then to offer her suggestions. Now we're getting better coverage - so we feel safer - for about the same premiums. Tina handled all the paperwork like the pro she is, making the switch easy-peasy for us.

Tina at LP Miceli is the BEST! She helped write a new insurance policy for my home and cars last Fall after I had grown dissatisfied with my previous insurance company where I felt I was being ignored and passed around-( they just collected my money every year and I had no idea even who my actual agent was! ) I had met Tina at events where she was supporting our local animal rescue organization (Tina loves rescue animals and actively supports local rescues which is another reason she’s great!)
Tina wrote a new policy for my husband and I and actually met me at a location that was convenient for me to hand deliver the papers and I was able to sign and pay in person!
Fast forward 4 months, my husband was involved in a bad car accident and had suffered severe injuries. Tina is excellent. She's a strong listener, communicative, and simply gets things done. I used to feel anxious about insurance because my previous broker was way too chatty and would make decisions without consulting me, like declaring low liability and high comprehensive on 15+ year old cars. So when my previous broker dropped the ball on a temporary extension for my home insurance for a roof replacement, I called Tina and she came to my rescue. With only days until our insurer was going to non-renew us, she switched us to her as our Agent of Record, got us an extension, and coordinated with our roofing company. Not only that, Tina fixed mistakes from my old broker, got us better coverage, and saved us money. She also resolved billing errors with our insurer and mortgage servicer. I've never felt pressured or misled. When I wanted to remove optional auto coverage, she respected my decision without any guilt-tripping.
