The bad reviews written are written by plan participants who do not understand the process. The TPA firm has to abide by IRS regulations, DOL regulations, as well as adhere to the specifications of the plan document. In no case would Lebenson ever be responsible for writing a check to a participant, they process the distribution requests and then submit them to be processed by whichever investment firm the plan uses.

This has been months of excuses and blaming others for not getting the job done! I have clearly expressed I want to recieve my money. Papers do not get managed in a timely manner. My impression is they really do not know what they are doing here. To get answers I have had to go looking for help at their office due to lack of returned phone calls. I am still waiting! How much longer will they delay me getting a check?

BEWARE!! Not only do they have horrible communication and do not return or follow up on your calls, they sent me all the wrong paperwork for my distribution and they keep procrastinating the entire process. I will never trust them again. Still waiting for my distribution and will contact the DOL if necessary.
