I wish I could give zero stars, but google is too kind. On 11/14/2024 we were notified by our vehicle's lien holder that we had a fee of $142.90 due to no insurance. My husband and I were confused as we have had state farm since April 2020. In June, they called my husband to tell him that our policy would be non-renewed at the end of Dec due to us moving out of state. Understandable. What is not understandable is that they then did not notify us about any cancellation, and instead, our vehicle's lien holder called us on 11/14/2024 to tell us that we owed this fee for no active insurance. This is how we found out that we have had no active insurance policy. SINCE JULY. No call to tell us our insurance was no longer active. Just that 1 call in early June to tell my husband that we were good until 12/31/2024 but would no longer be renewed after that. To say I am frustrated is a huge understatement. My husband and also checked all of our emails to confirm that we had indeed not received any kind of cancellation for our policy, and of course we did not. I am furious.
