Avoid Kira and this nightmare of an office. I was referred by a family member and I gave them all of my existing insurance information for home, auto, umbrella and boat. Not one thing was done properly. Left messages and emails for the agent Kira to contact me and no response. I switched to another State Farm agent and they couldn't believe how all the information was messed up. I have paid everything in full and now have to start all over again thanks to the laziness of Kira and her office staff.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Agency

We have been a loyal State Farm customer for over three years, but our family experience with Kira Schnell Harrison’s agency has been nothing short of a nightmare. We strongly recommend avoiding this agency.

Here are the major issues we’ve experienced:
1. Placed in Collections Without Notification
• My husband was shocked to learn that our business was sent to collections for an unpaid workers’ compensation bill, which he was never notified about. Despite multiple calls to the agency over the past year to ensure our policies was up to date, no one informed us of any issues.
• When we contacted Carl Buchberger, the person responsible for billing, he refused to provide any explanations and dismissed our concerns with an unprofessional attitude—he even laughed on the phone.
2. Failure to Remove Sold Vehicles
• We sold two vehicles on December 26, 2024, and notified the agency. Despite their assurances that the vehicles would be removed from the policy, we discovered weeks later that one vehicle is still active and we have to pay for it!
3. Duplicate Policies Without Notification
• Also, we just found out that we’ve been paying for two workers’ compensation policies instead of one. We never needed two policies!
4. Unprofessional and Unresponsive Team
• Kira Schnell Harrison has been completely unresponsive during this entire ordeal. Her staff, particularly Carl, has been dismissive, unhelpful, and careless. We’ve been trying to resolve these issues, but no one takes responsibility.

This agency has caused us unnecessary stress, wasted time, and financial losses. We have been in business for almost 20 years and have never experienced this level of incompetence and disregard from any insurance company or agency.

If you need an agency you can trust, this is NOT it. Stay far away from Kira Schnell Harrison’s State Farm agency.
