I was in Elk Grove and need to deposit cash, so safe union is co-op with Premier community credit Union great service

Call a day before to see if SAFE is part of the shared branches with other CUs in the US to utilize in-branch services; they said yes. Came in and saw a teller to make a cash deposit. After waiting for their computers to fire up (roughly 10 mins), I was told that their shared branch networks was down for the region. When I ask if it was just their branch, all SAFE CUs, or all shared branches in the network for this region I just got an “I don’t know”. Since this teller offered me no alternative options, I had to used their ATM outside. I felt unsafe and not taken care of.

It seems like if you are not a SAFE CU member and just a shared network member, this branch does not provide good customer service.

I would like to commend ms ericka b. and her companion for helping us especially my wife in getting her first checking account and cc here in the US. Ms ericka have been very very patient in answering all our questions and very attentive to what we want. She also explained to us thoroughly the best option we can avail.
