Katie has been my family's life insurance agent since 2017, and a close friend for far longer, and I can honestly say that not only is she one of the most intelligent people but also the kindest. We always had what I would call "good" experiences with insurance companies. We had claims that were taken care of with no major issues and the agents we used were "fine." When Katie Bashary became an agent for State Farm, I was familiar with her and her family - so we decided to switch to State Farm and Katie as our agent. I never knew what I was missing until Katie because our agent. Katie sat down with us and talked through what insurance we needed, what was optional and what was imperative. She gave us examples of why or how the insurance would "work" and explained that these were things she would do for her own family. I remember her saying she wanted to call all her clients, in their time of need, and be able to say, "don't worry - You're covered." When I call Katie, most of the time she answers her own phone and already knows it's me calling. She always asks about our family, our children by name.... She is more of a friend than an insurance agent. She's a person I trust. She is a person I can call with questions and NEVER feel like I'm bothering her, that she is too busy or that my question is not valid or important. She has put together a small team that holds her same values and beliefs on customer service and commitment to the customer. It's not often I speak in absolutes, but I can say we will always work with Katie and her team for our insurance needs.
