We bought a vehicle in Lafayette and a couple weeks later I received a phone call from David Mei! He explained to me that he was able to get my homeowners and car insurance down significantly from what I was paying. I was skeptical due to how much he was able to lower my monthly payment. I had several questions and in return he had several answers! Very patient and kind! We were very thankful to get that phone call, especially since with the new vehicle, our car payment went up! Due to the ever-changing insurance market, I found myself fed up with the current insurance rates I was paying. After a quick and professional discussion, Joe was able to get me better coverage and save me hundreds on my car insurance so much so that he also priced out what a home insurance plan would look like. We were contacted by David Mei following the purchase of a new vehicle. David was very kind and transparent in his effort to help us understand our insurance coverage. He stated that he would be honest about whether it made sense to switch companies or not. He compared our policies with Allstate policies, and was able to save us some money by switching. He also brought up some areas where we could benefit from more coverage than what our existing insurance company offered (ex. Covering sump pump failure in our newly-finished basement). Ultimately, we decided to make the switch because it felt like an asset to have an agent who would be available to help advise us and educate us on our insurance needs. He also spoke to us regarding the importance of having a living will and life insurance coverage. He took a good approach at making sure we had our bases covered. I appreciated his willingness to share his knowledge.
