My family has had Allstate Car Insurance for a decade now, my mom and dad likes to go to this location/call them for help since they speak Chinese.

However, I do not speak Chinese and ask them questions in English. Over the 5 years that I have been helping my parents with their Allstate questions, I have found that this location has horrible service.

Most of the workers reply to my questions rudely, and just now one of them laughed at me for asking my question. I am not the type of person to make vengeful reviews, but that was my last straw of patience for this place.

Overall their customer service sucks, their team needs to have an intervention on having better customer service.

This agent is literally the worst! All these good reviews they have are literally a scam! I called them this morning requesting to cancel my auto insurance because I moved to a different state and had to switch my policy to the current state that I live in. They told me that I’m all set and everything is canceled. I logged in after 2-3 hours to check if it was canceled, and it actually wasn’t! I had to call Allstate customer service line and cancel the policy. Also, had to report them to Allstate because this is not the first time. Do your job right!!!! Thank God I’m done dealing with you guys! THE WORST!

The people at Allstate are incredibly rude and unprofessional. We had our insurance doubled without any notice. And when we called to talk about it, the man on the phone was so rude. We canceled our insurance.

I would not recommend this Allstate agent/agency for those who are looking for one due to the following reasons below.

1) When requesting specific information via email, they send the whole document with a phrase "refer to document". So you need to dig into the document but it is not guaranteed that the information you are looking for is in the document.

2) When sending documents to Allstate HQ, this agency does not know how to fill them out correctly. For example, on the mileage correction form, dates and signatures need to be handwritten but the agent herself types it with a computer so the form is rejected. The mileage form is the simplest form one can fill out so for more complex documents, it is a living nightmare to work with them.

3) Robotic voices from self checkout and restaurant kiosks are more friendlier than the workers here. They get easily irritable when asked a lot of questions to work out a problem. I am the one who needs to reach out to Allstate customer service to get the answer when this agency/people are the ones who work for Allstate. Just imagine an incompetent agent/agency that does not know how to file a document combined with bad customer service. This place is the result.

One agency can't speak for the whole Allstate company but working with this agency made me question Allstate. For those who had a good experience with other Allstate agents from different areas, but need to find a new agent/agency in San Diego go find a better Allstate agency. Do not let this agency ruin your experience with Allstate. For those who are looking for a new insurance company, make sure to look into another auto insurance company.

If you are not Chinese, please don’t waste your time calling talkless of walking in. I walked into their office and for good 20 seconds, no one looked up from their seat to greet nor welcome me. I thought I was invisible, I had to go back outside to look at the sign post probably I was in the wrong place but I wasn’t. This is the worst office environment I have been in my entire life.
Please do your insurance somewhere else.
I won’t sugarcoat this, they bunch of racist. This is bad for Allstate. I went to transfer my insurance to my new car and at the end of the day, I cancelled my insurance because of their animalistic behavior.

We tried to correct the address of our insured property and wasn’t successful several times. We believe that there is a bug in Allstate website form. Luckily, once Steven Chan took over this task, he solved our problem quickly and effectively.

Service agent is extremely rude (aka Portia the HO meiyi), interrogated me at 10PM over lapsed insurance and threatened me that no places in California will issue new insurance. This place screams SKETCHY. I had their insurance for years and she finally showed her true colors (scary)
