We have had insurance with Higginbotham since we purchased our company five years ago. They provided all the items we needed, such as COI and information on renewals, in a timely fashion but never received a call to do an audit and check the current state of our needs. A month ago, we decided to switch companies for a more personal relationship with a broker. We currently have 1 month left in our current term, and they refused to help provide us with a Certificate of Insurance, which the Insurance company expressed was their responsibility until the term ends. If you want to work with a broker that provides personal customer service and understands your needs, I didnt have this exeprience.

Go elsewhere. Pay more. Just avoid them. Its flat out a liability to deal with them. My experience was very nearly costly and extremely stressful. Alerted me with 15 days of their intention to (not renew, i.e. cancel) my policy. Perfect timing as I was on vacation out of the country. There are no gentlemen working here. Its dog eat dog.
