Took my down payment to investigate my ex wife, then he invoiced me for more time for investigating her address in woodstock even after knowing that she no longer lived there. His report shows this. Told me he had everything I needed for my case. Then he ghosted me. I would definitely not recommend the man Harry Brown.

I hired Mr. Harry Brown for a family case. He was very professional and attentive to all my needs. He capture all the information needed for my case. He responded to all my calls, text and emails in an appropriate matter. He prioritize my request and brought the evidence to court bringing justice to my case. I hired Harry for an important background search that was critical to my case. He accepted the work and we had two conversations after the initial discussion. Appears Harry confused me with another client with a similar name and the critical information was not available when I need it. In fact, he had not even acted on the case. His excuse was problems with the kids. Although Harry will sell his professionalism, it is a one man show and therefore little to no backup support. You'll just have to wait until he has time to get back with you, just like I did, but he never got back to me.

Do yourself a favor and do not use this agency. Prior to hiring Mr. Brown, I ran a very basic background check on an individual, but needed more information, and needed it within a week. That is when I contacted this agency. I contacted Mr. Brown on a Saturday, had about a 40 minute conversation with him giving him all of the information I had obtained, and mailed him a $325 check that Monday. Mr. Brown promised me that he would have an even more thorough background report for me that Wednesday. I also emailed Mr. Brown with information right after we got off the phone. On Thursday after not hearing from Mr. Brown, I sent him a follow up email as well as a phone call. No response. On Friday after not hearing from him, I sent another email and called again. Still nothing. Finally, after the due date for the report was up, Mr. Brown finally called me. He said he was unable to recall the person's name from our 40 minute conversation and did not receive any of my emails (which was a lie, I tracked the emails and they were opened the day after I sent them.) He said the check I mailed Monday did not arrive until Friday (another lie, the package tracking indicated he received it at 10:23 Wednesday morning.) He sent me the report a week and a half after promised and it had even less information than the $50 report I did myself. I contacted Mr. Brown twice after he sent the report, and he would not respond, but he was very happy to cash my check.
Do NOT use this agency; it is a scam.

I hired Harry Brown to go after my lying ex-wife who had stole over $50,000 from me. He provided resounding proof of her lies and deceitfulness, and used tactics to get her to stop litigation. Thanks to Harry Brown I am financially made whole with one less lying person in my life forever.

I agree with the other reviewer. This investigator is terrible. He demands payment before providing any service, which most likely violates consumer protection laws. The background search he conducted for me was useless because it was purposely done incorrectly. When the flaws in his process were pointed out he screamed at me for several minutes so as to prevent me from detailing the issues with his defective work. I would not recommend this investigator for any type of work.
