Today I had an appointment at Golden 1 to open a new Trust account. As soon as I walked in Lori greeted me by name and began helping me. That was a pleasant surprise since I was anticipating having to sign in, and then wait a while to be helped.

Lori helped me sort through my Trust documents and easily worked through a couple issues in order to make sure the account was set up properly. Lori really took the time to make sure everything was correct and ensured I understood every step of the process. Lori even helped me resolve a couple issues with my other Golden 1 accounts in the same visit.

Lori was thorough, efficient and seemed very focused on making sure I had a great experience with Golden 1. I was very impressed with my this Golden 1 location and how helpful Lori was.

Going forward, I plan to drive the extra distance to come to this Golden 1 location since the customer service here is probably the best I've experienced in years.

Went in to open a membership for my SCorp and was notified I’d need to provide my business license, so I’d have to make another appointment. No big deal, that was to be expected.

Made an appointment for the next day and as soon as I put my shoes on to head to Golden 1, I got a phone call that they do not accept SCorps at this time. Why wasn’t this mentioned when I initially went in and clearly stated I wanted to open an account for an SCorp? Pretty bummed, but at least they called me before I left.

So helpful, so easy to deal with this branch. Opened an account for a car loan several years ago (super rate by the way) and I've never had to go in to the bank for anything else. Today I did have to go in, and it was like I'd been in there every day - no hassle no problem- just got it done.

I really liked Golden 1 Credit Union until the last couple weeks. They mis-applied one of my payments and made it as difficult as possible for me to prove they cashed my check, it had their bank account listed on the back of my check and they still fought with me! Did not accept emails, only faxes. Constant phone calls, uninterested in solving their problem. If you think they are any different than other banks think again, horrible customer service.

I went to close my credit card, I told the teller I wanted to pay of the whole amount of my care and close it. She told me I had to wait 48 hours before closing the account so the payment could post. I came back 2 days later to close the account for another teller to tell me I still had a balance on my card. Apparently, when you say "I want to pay off my card" doesnt include intrest. They took forever closing my account. Very disappointed. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Understaffed, terrible service, usually really long wait in line.... The manager is great but she is only there a few days a month..... Been banking here for years.... Even though they know me, they wouldn't let me withdraw money from my account because my license expired a couple days ago on my birthday.
I would not recommend golden 1 to anyone.
They don't care about there customers but they will try and find a way to get your money.

I love town centre Golden one! They know everyone that comes in. They make you feel like golden one family lol. Love these guys! Way better than Folsom! Folsom is always busy crowded and not nearly as friendly!!!
