We were unfortunately referred over to Farmers insurance, more specifically Benjamin Brands agency and it’s been a nightmare of an experience with this guy. We have no clue how his agency has lasted this long. This guy is very unprofessional and unethical dealing with customer service or just servicing the policy in general. We set up a homeowners policy along with a fire policy for our home in Big Bear with him. Well it’s been nothing but issues ever since. It was initially brought up to him that the policies would be paid through the mortgage in which he set up one policy that was but not the other without our knowledge as he never called us to confirm or anything. We found out through our mortgage once the policy was cancelled. Unfortunately this created an unpaid balance which we are now being threatened to be sent to collections. He never apologized or even corrected his mistake, instead he just reissued the policy. Well now thats policy is cancelling for underwriting reasons. When I called him and explained the situation, his response was that I should have been the one in contact with the mortgage company to make sure they were paid, that he did helped us by re-issuing the policy. When I questioned him as to why I had to do his customer service he became very hostile and his response was “well if you don’t like my services you can go somewhere else“ and proceeded to hang up on me, leaving me with no answers and my policy still in limbo. This guy should not be in business if this is how he’s treating his customers, SPECIALLY the ones referred over to him.

I was in search of another Homeowner insurance company when Noah C. reached out to me after I requested multiple insurance agency quotes online. I received several calls from insurance company clearing houses and was not impressed with any.
Noah impressed me right away because he LISTENED. I take referring friends, neighbors, and family to any business seriously. I without hesitation would refer anyone to Noah C. at this local Farmers Insurance office for these reasons:
• Noah possesses active listening skills.
• I was treated with respect and dignity.
• Transparency is practiced, not just talked about. He explained every step of the process before it happened. His explanations usually addressed my questions before I asked them.
• Noah encouraged questions and gave clear concise explanations when asked.
• Follow-up is amazing. I did not have to hunt him down to ask questions or get clarifications.
• He is knowledgeable about the entire insurance industry and would be a great agent for the needs of both personal and business insurance.
I’ve had the services of two of the big names in the insurance industry and none met the customer service, really the Customer Care level that I experienced working with Noah as my insurance agent. I have now bundled my homeowner and auto insurance with Farmers. My auto rate is a little higher, but I am now getting so much more than I received before.

Do not use this office and possibly not farmers in general. If this office is representative of how the company conducts business you do not want to deal with them. There was an issue with my policy expiring, I contact the office and spoke with an agent who took a payment from me and assured me he corrected the policy. I get a call a month later saying the policy lapsed Andrew they would have to rewrite the policy, of course at a higher amount…the office knows they made the mistake but want me to pay for it instead of correcting it on their end. I’m glad I found out before I had any issues or claims, as I can’t imagine what bureaucratic loopholes they use. Very disappointed that they refused to fix THEIR issue. Trust has been completely lost. Of course my payment will come in 7-10 business days now that I’ve demanded the money back since it obviously didn’t go to my policy. Completely unprofessional.

Very frustrated. If you bundle home and auto and use your bank's online bill pay, it will be a nightmare. I pay the amount on the home policy, it gets applied to the auto. Then I get a partial refund on that, while also being told I'm late on the home policy. Ben doesn't help, he just e-mails you copies of the bills that you are already getting in the mail. He doesn't dive in to help you figure out what is going wrong and the best way to resolve it.

It could have been fixed by just showing me how to set up auto-pay (which customer service just did....thanks, Alicia!). Went to get a quote from Progressive, and then found out that some system is erroneously showing that I've had 2 auto claims with Farmers in the last 36 months, so they declined me. Alicia sent me a letter to show that was wrong....so hopefully I can get over to Progressive. BTW, they are much cheaper than Farmers. I've been paying a premium pricing for bad service.

Ben and Ed were able to beat all other insurances including AAA. I am very happy with having a one stop contact, not having to go through automated calls and pressing all the options just to speak to a live person. I am happy with Ben and Ed for being patient and professional with me. Getting it done and fairly seamless! Thanks guys!!

Ben did a great job and helped resolve our insurance needs. He went above and beyond and showed a lot of hussle to get us our quotes and even texted us after hours which we appreciated because it showed he was working until late to get the job done!
