If I can rate this place a 0 I would not have even given it a star. Elizabeth was rude and careless. Everything was rushed and not explained. They charge so much money and to not even be greeted when walking in took me back.
I decided to go with another tax expert who gave me a free quote before committing, was very polite and attentive to detail to ensure I was getting back the max refund. they also charged me a lot less than at Elizabeth’s. You can tell all she cares about is money and not necessarily for her customers I will never recommend or go there again.

I had a great experience at Elizabeth’s Income Tax Service. They were incredibly friendly, full of positive energy, and made the entire process quick and easy. They handled my documents professionally and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I really appreciated how efficient and welcoming they were it’s rare to find such great service. Elizabeth is great but the prices are getting ridiculous. Two years ago it was $160 to do your taxes. Than $180 and now this year $200 to $240.. no thank you time to find someone new too do my taxes.

I was recommended by family who spoke highly about Elizabeth’s services, and so I was looking forward to going for tax services. Well… I had a very unpleasant experience. As soon as you walk in not a single staff member greets you or informs you what the process is like to receive services. Granted I went at a time during the end of tax deadline, but it’s no excuse for this especially if one of the primary services is assisting people with their taxes! As I’m sitting there I’m simply observing the workflow…it was quick and who knows how efficient she actually was. One person gets called up by her staff to obtain basic information and then when it’s time for the details that’s when Elizabeth steps in. However, her services felt so insincere and careless. While she was working with me she was rushing to help another family right next to me - this is what her services consist of: rushing back and forth. When she finally helped me she didn’t bother asking about any life updates. Mind you, I had my taxes done by her the previous year because I had a family member assist me by filling them out for me. However, I had a child and had moved to a new home. Had I not mentioned this she would’ve rushed right through me and on to the next! I understand I should provide updates, but she doesn’t care about you. She just cares about rushing and collecting the $$$ (which, by the way, felt like an absurd amount considering how bad and quick the service was). Finally, I didn’t appreciate that she fails to explain things you may not understand. In my situation I owed money, but all she said was “you owe X amount”. I sat there completely taken aback. Not a single explanation about how or why it was that I owed or any assistance about how we can work through it. It was one of the least personable experiences I’ve ever had in a service that requires us to give some of the most personal information.

The convenience and the confidence in the employees to know that we are not just a number but acknowledges that we our also people and helps us maximize the most out of our refund.

I’ve been going to her for more than 3+ years and she is literally the sweetest more kindest person ever! Make sure to go locally and do your taxes with small businesses. I moved to worth Illinois and I still make my way out to her. She is one of a kind. I can always call her and she picks up super quick and is always so nice ti answer any questions.
