They wired $63,000 of my mom's money to my title company's bank without adding a name or address or what the money was for. The bank rejected it after 3 days so Edward Jones had to wire it again, which they did, then withdrew the wire transfer at 3PM on a Friday, on the day of closing because they then decided they wanted an order from the judge allowing this transfer. I am unable to get in touch with anyone at the head office. I have been given the runaround for a week. This has caused a great deal of stress. I will be removing my mom's account from Edward Jones.

I haven’t been able to get my CD’s as a beneficiary for four months. Jazmin Hill took my call. She was empathetic, smart and just listened to my horrible story. She couldn’t do anything but listen. And that she did in spades!! I hope to always get someone like Jazmin to answer my phone calls. She’s a true asset to Edward Jones. And I got my money four days later!! I don’t know how to even thank you for just being you, Jazmin Hill!

I have been a Edward Jones client with a local FA since 2011. My experience showed me that the client is #1, the FA and Branch Office Administrator's main focus was, and still is, to educate me on what was available to me to invest and grow my portfolio, what the risks were so I went in fully aware of where my $ would be and what I could expect. Communication was and still is paramount. After several years I began working for the company and I gained a deeper understanding of the company values, which makes me feel even more comfortable having my investments managed by Edward Jones. Are there bad players in every industry? yes, do they get routed out by the company? in this company, yes. It's sad that there are people who have received poor service, or just have not been well educated on how their accounts will work for them. Edward Jones has a fiduciary responsibility to serve clients and in my experience they take that very seriously in everything they do.

ZERO STARS!!
Never put your money in a trust with Edward jones! They took over my mom's account when she was diagnosed with dementia in 2019. Gabrielle Freid is the trust officer. They mismanaged the account and refused to distribute the remaining funds until we signed a paper saying we wouldn't sue them. We refused to sign! Don't do business with these people!!!!

A month ago, I would have given EJ 5 Stars. But my FA went to another company 3 weeks ago and I found this out quite accidentally! I was able to get in touch with her right away since I had her cell number, however. The new manager at our EJ Amarillo, Texas office never even called to tell me she was gone until several days later. I have spoken to him on 3-4 occasions since and he has done NOTHING to try and encourage us to stay with EJ. We decided to follow our FA to her new company, but in the interim of completing documents to achieve this move, I needed withdrawals twice. The fist one went FAIRLY well with the funds being deposited almost as quickly as before. However, I made a request this past Friday and my email was never acknowledged. I followed up on Monday and finally received a call at almost noon. The sell orders were put in that day (Monday), but I had no other communication with them until today (Thursday) when I emailed and asked “where’s my money?” Initially they said that they were notified that I was moving my accounts so they could not access my money, and that I should contact my new agency. Not only that, but I was told that they had known since Tuesday of the change in agencies, but never did they even attempt to notify me. Had I not inquired today, Thursday, it’s no wonder WHEN I would have learned of this news. I inadvertently emailed my FA, formerly of EJ, and the EJ address defaulted. From what I said in my email, I received a pert response saying I needed to contact my FA at her new company. That was one week ago. It is MY OPINION that the management and staff at Edward Jones in Amarillo intentionally dragged their feet on this transaction, causing a major snag in a deal for which I needed these funds! I might add that their “investment philosophy” comes from Corporate Hdqtrs and my FA’s hands were tied to the point that she could not make the investments that would be more beneficial without bringing down the wrath of Corporate on her shoulders. The once-friendly staff are no longer friendly or accommodating. I would think that even though EJ was losing a client, that they would do everything possible to keep the relationship a happy one so reviews such as this one would not occur. I’m extremely disappointed in how this was handled in our case.

Don't give this company your money...Because I am a busy person and run three companies, my local Edward Jones advisor thought he should punish me by locking my online access to my own account. I haven't been able to access my account for three months. After contacting him, he replied that because I have not returned phone calls or emails, he locked my account. I have requested my account be closed and no one has responded. What are they doing with my account? Stealing my money? Schoolyard bully advising people on what do do with their money? Using Gestapo tactics and locking my account for non communication. Really? This company is a rip off. My advice: Go to T. Rowe Price. I have my main retirement account with them and they have never tried this type of bullying. What has this world come to? If my bank did this to me, I'd be filing a lawsuit immediately!
