After my partner died and I was beneficiary of a account I knew nothing about I was referred to her and asked her to adjust some of my mutual funds, I received her proposal in the mail and when I called back to tell her of my decision she was out for leave and I was referred to someone else. When I talked to them they had no idea of anything she had worked up for my account. Why am I paying these people when they are unable to help me? I've been through enough settling my partners affairs, this should be made easy and it has been a nightmare.
