We’ve been clients of Tim’s for a couple of years now. I love that he’s a local, grew up in the area, and maintains strong family ties here. He is knowledgeable about tax planning, investing and knows how to grow our accounts within our risk tolerance. We first joined with Tim Doehrmann at Eagle Ridge Wealth Advisors (ERWA) in August 2020. From our initial visit we realized it was a “great fit”. I had retired from Caterpillar and my wife retired from Methodist Hospital, both after 37 years. Tim presented a solid investment plan for our situation, that was a well-developed investment strategy. This included a clear picture of our investment goals and how to reach them. One key element we have appreciated is a tax strategy to convert our existing traditional IRA to Roth IRA. This strategy avoids paying higher taxes in future years, especially when Required Minimum Distributions will go into effect. Tim is very accessible and checks in with us on a regular basis. We have semi-annual face-to face meetings, but he is willing to meet at any time. Another highlight are Tim’s weekly podcasts and newsletters. These include current topics that are applicable to current market events. Overall, we are very pleased and confident with his financial guidance and we feel the decisions we are making together with him will secure our financial future.
