BEWARE! They tell you one thing and then do another. My car was damaged in transit and they refused to pay for it. The person who delivered my vehicle, delivered it absolutely filthy covered in mud and I couldn’t spot the damage until I had washed it. My passenger side mirror was damaged and they won’t cover it because I didn’t “find it during inspection” - when in reality I couldn’t, nor did the person delivering let me inspect before he demanded payment and for me to sign. I wasn’t told 30 minutes prior to him arriving like I was promised I was so I was in the middle of work when he just shows up. They picked my car up a day earlier than I requested and said if I didn’t give them my car then they wouldn’t guarantee a pick up. None of this is outlined in their contract either. Very very disappointing. I even asked if they would just pay for the part and I would pay to have it installed, as I’m not comfortable doing that myself as my mirror is one of the auto dimming and has a motion detecting light.
They also didn’t outline in their contact that you have to pay cash upon delivery. Their contract says they accept card payments and you have to pay the card fee but when I argued that they said cash or no delivery. I should have kept my car and not ignored these red flags.

I deal with Direct Motor Lines in my work and can only give positive feedback. A wonderful team of people who responsibly approach their production duties. As a result, the company itself can be considered a reliable partner in the matter of transportation and delivery of goods. I highly recommend it. The rating is high.

DO NOT USE THESE SCOUNDRELS !!!!!! My vehicle was in a storage unit and was to be picked up and delivered across the country.
The driver scheduled a pick up time with me, and I relayed this information to my point of contact who would meet the driver at the storage facility ( as I was across country). Not only did the driver not show up, he didn’t even bother to call/ text to give me a heads up. I would have to call and request a new pick up time. THIS HAPPENED 5 TIMES IN A TWO DAY PERIOD!!! When the driver finally arrived, he immediately began to ask for more money than had been agreed on. At that point I lost it, and told him never mind, I would find someone else, and do not bother loading my vehicle. As I was across the country, and my point of contact had handed him the key, he refused to honor my request and insisted on loading my car anyway. After a lengthy conversation with the dispatcher, and threatening to evolve my attorney, as well as assuring him he would NOT be paid upon destination arrival, the driver finally returned my vehicle. However, after an hour, my point of contact had left and was no longer available that day, so the billigerent driver left my car outside of the storage facility which was next to a homeless camp. The driver spitefully sent me pictures of the homeless people camped next to where he left my car. Then he locked the wrong key inside my car, so that the car could not be moved without the service of a locksmith to unlock the door and create a new key fob. I explained all of this to Direct Motor Lines, but they have still refused to take any responsibility for this disaster, or reimburse me for the expenses ($900) that I incurred due to their driver.
TRUST ME—if your Auto Shipping Service suggests DML as the carrier , do yourself a great favor and tell them NO!! Find another car carrier.

Shipped a Honda Civic from Ohio to Arizona. Original contract was $645. They made us put down $125 deposit once they pick the vehicle up they change the number $1100 minus the 125 deposit so 975 was due upon delivery vehicle was supposed to be delivered on Friday. They wouldn’t communicate with us then they told us it would be delivered on a Saturday night. We stayed up till 10 o’clock at night waiting on the vehicle and then they told us that the vehicle is two hours away and then Sunday morning they told us that the vehicle was 1200 miles away broke down on the trailer, and then when vehicle finally got delivered on a Monday they made us pay $1100 and give us credit towards our deposit lesson learned with this company stay far away from them as their communication sucks they will not answer the phone for you. They tell you that vehicle is two hours away all the time and they will always tell you tomorrow for delivery and they tell you nothing but lies stay far away from this company.

Once they got our vehicles they stopped communicating. A week past delivery time and they are showing up tomorrow (maybe) but now our vehicle isn’t running, with no explanation.

Direct Motor lines was contracted by a middle man to transport my vehicle from Kentucky to California. While the driver was late to pickup, due to a hiccup with his truck, the company and the driver stayed in constant communication with me and still managed to deliver my vehicle before the original promised timeframe.
Vitalli was a very professional and courteous employee and driver. I tip my hat to this young man for his commitment to our customer service and communication.
skip the middle man and contract directly with these guys.

I’m giving the company a 2 for fast and quick delivery but that’s about it. I just got my car fixed for over 5 k before I left Minnesota and it was fresh out of the shop. I was very adamant with the driver to be very careful because of this. When I arrived to California, and looked at there was a dent on the drivers side with the hub cap on and the bumper was in dis-alignment. They seemed to be careless in delivery. I was disappointed cause I was very clear in directions as well. I will file an insurance claim, but why do this business if your going to be careless with others cars. I wouldn’t choose this company and instead look into something else and take pics of before and after. Protect yourself. Drivers name was Alex.
