As a business owner myself, I am extremely reluctant in ever writing a negative review for another company unless it truly is a terrible experience. I am incredibly disappointed with this company and feel completely taken advantage of. Previous reviews of others clearly show my experience is not unique. I was quoted a flat fee of no more than $2,500 for the entire year of tax work, and I made it crystal clear that I needed to know the total cost upfront. To my shock, I was never told about additional fees, including the unexpected monthly sales tax filings. I was told services would be provided after being billed for them.

It feels like I’ve been scammed—these charges were never disclosed, and it’s frustrating to realize how little transparency there was. I trusted this accountant to be upfront with me, but instead, I’ve been blindsided with hidden costs. I understand that things can sometimes change, but this lack of honesty from the start has left me feeling deeply betrayed. In addition, they rarely reply to emails and always call or ask to speak in person - clearly to avoid leaving trails of communication.

I was hoping for a professional and trustworthy partnership, but this experience has been the complete opposite. Unfortunately, I won’t be recommending this business to anyone, as I can’t in good conscience support a practice that operates this way. If you value clear communication and transparency, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

First off, let me explain that I very seldomly write reviews. Only if the service provided is of the HIGHEST quality, or that of which is so poor, that I don’t believe should even be available to the public.

For me personally, delta financial services is far more than just a CPA service provider. At the start of my still fairly young business, the owner of DFS had coached me through everything that it takes to start up a small business. From assisting me with becoming registered with the state, registering my business as an S-Corp, and thoroughly walking me through every step of the process to maximizing my tax deductions for my business.

Over the years I have received everything and more that you would expect from a generational family ran business. From the most sincere and genuine of client relations I’ve ever experienced, to downright open and honest professionalism. Having been working with Delta Financial closely for my 3rd year now, I have, and will continue to recommend their services to any business professionals looking to get assistance with any of their tax/accounting needs handled.
