CFS was great and such an easy process to follow. They explained the application process and let me know what I was approved for and what documents I needed to make the closing process as smooth as possible. Fatima was the representative that helped me out and made the process seamless. She had great knowledge and let me know that if I had a questions I could reach out to her. Not sure why this place has bad reviews as everything was great and the rest of the staff was amazing. Must be the people who can’t pay that complain that this place is bad

This financial institution is amazing and helpful when need be. Please know that they will service anyone and everyone but yes the sour reviews, it will always be someone that 1 did not or could not get approved or/and 2 not paying nor wanna pay.... so enough said. The doors will always be open to whomever truly needs it and also understands it. They will continuously be gracious and extremely thankful for all of the clients, customers and built relationships that come through their door. So please don't let these little sour reviews make your mind up of CFS. And please come on by. =)

I had a loan with this company for a little over a year before I had to trade my vehicle in. They'll help people out if they have poor credit or no credit, sure. But otherwise this company is not at all reliable unless it's taking your payments. Just waiting to receive a copy of my signed paperwork took almost two months. After the first month, they hadn't even mailed it out, then after waiting a couple more weeks, I still never received anything. I eventually made my way down just to pick it up myself, and they closed early! I had to drive back down the next day to finally get my paperwork and I didn't even get copies of ALL the paperwork I signed (how convenient that the paper that had the number of the towing they offer wasn't in the packet).
Their online account system, from what I could tell without processing an extra payment, was merely a card processing site. It doesn't tell you the remaining balance left on your account or anything, unless in order to see that information you have to make a manual payment instead of the one they set you up as in ACH. Additionally, when I went to trade my vehicle in, they apparently report to the credit bureaus more than what your principle is. I'm assuming it's the over all balance including interest if you make minimum monthly payments. But since I was at the dealership in the evening, and there's no online portal, no 24/7 phone system to find the information, and the credit bureau report has the incorrect numbers, the vehicle trade-in became a two day process. And guess what? When they called to verify again on the second day at 5PM because they needed one more piece of information, they were already closed! If your company actually closes at 5, at least update your business hours on Google for crying out loud. And don't bother trying to call the other locations, each branch's database is separate from the others, so they won't be able to help. I'm sure there are worse loan companies out there, but they are definitely the worst I've worked with. Unless you absolutely have no one else to turn to, I would advise you look elsewhere.

I cannot emphasize enough how much operational integrity CFS holds, especially in the arena of short term financial lending in Chicago. Their document requirements are very reasonable at industry standards, their procedures are transparent and concise, and their process is professional, respectful and accommodating to an array of credit backgrounds. Above all, the Loan Specialists are patient, knowledgeable, pleasant and responsive to tailoring solutions for your personal situation. They are timely with reporting your loan to the credit bureaus and thoughtful with checking in with their clients. Today Kris helped me with refinancing, but on my original loan I was helped by Lissette and Fatima. Josh is an incredible leader as reflected in their business culture. They are all outstanding at their jobs and in their field. One would be hard pressed to find comparable service even with a prime lender such as a traditional bank. The decorum is unmatched in excellence. I'm grateful to have CFS as a pivotal lender in my rebuilding stage at this juncture of life.
