Wow Just read the last review and I laughed. I experience technical issues on the daily at Work, Government sites. Vendors, and then there are the other financial houses of avantax and fidelity......Internet in any organization has issues.... But what I really want is to give the Tucson staff (Daniel and Rich) and the entire office an A+. They have been the consummate professionals. I have had a complex estate to untangle and divide. They helped me through every step and are still going strong. I wouldn't hesitate for a second recommending them to family or friend.... Keep up the amazing service.

Charles Schwab has engaged in unethical trading practices, causing significant financial losses for their clients. During my recent trading activities, I experienced direct manipulation of my trades in real-time, particularly during day trading and scalping sessions. As a result, I incurred a substantial loss of $38,000.00.
On one occasion, the functionality of their website was deliberately reduced, preventing me from canceling an options trade. This forced me to let the trade expire worthless. Additionally, I had previously contacted their support team regarding the inconsistent and buggy nature of their online trading platform, which is in dire need of an update. While the support representative acknowledged the issues, he also made light of my concerns, displaying a complete lack of professionalism.
I have since demanded restitution for my loss. However, my request was met with dismissive behavior and disrespect, including the same support representative laughing and hanging up on me. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and Charles Schwab must be held accountable for their actions.

About 5 serious mistakes since April when I called to inform them my account number could have been leaked in my employer's data breach. Manager told me on that date "we'll just change your account number." When I asked "will my debit card keep working?" I was told yes, so I didn't request a new one. I was told they were mailing checks, though. When my debit card stopped working (because they had moved all the money to a new account) I realized that I had to *request* a new debit card. I waited 4-6 weeks for the checks, which never arrived, and had to re-order them. Finally, today I switched all my many auto-debits to the new account, only to receive a letter, dated 9 days ago (why not email?), that I must apply for the new account -- and that meanwhile my account is, in various ways, "limited," "suspended," or removed of "authority." My girlfriend was strongly considering Schwab before this, because I'd said good things about it. Note, this review is not about Tucson's local office but Schwab in general, except for this: When I tried calling the local office to make an appointment to hand-deliver the suddenly-now-urgently-required account application tomorrow (since I can't afford for my account to remain frozen during a week's mail transit) I didn't get the local office but rather a call center rep in another state who said that she could get the Tucson office a message in 24-48 hours. I plan to walk in tomorrow and see if they can explain why my girlfriend should become a customer. I think they should offer each of us money for this: For me to stay after they wasted so many hours of my time, and for her to choose them over e.g. Fidelity or E*TRADE, both of which I've been with since the 1990s and which have never messed up my finances so much as Schwab has done.

I really like doing business with this location. They are always helpful and professional. I do not use a broker or advisor. However, I do make deposits to my account. If you like me are self-directed and need help setting up an account, they will be cheerful and assist you. My account is with TD Ameritrade, which has been bought out by Charles Schwab. To there are what I believe are employees from both companies.
Considering the help they have given me, I would recommend them.

Today I went to a session regarding the use of options with my account. The session itself was ok. Before leaving I asked to meet with a Schwab representative to set up the ability to trade options through Schwab directly. The person I met with, Jeff, wasn't very welcoming and then directed me to fill out the forms online from home. He did not want to print them out for me to complete on the spot. By looking at the account (which he said he did), it's very apparent I did not have the on-line option "This account isn't eligible to apply online for options access. Download the paper form..." I have worked with other offices before and had much better service. At this point, I'm even thinking of moving my funds. I like the on-line platform but customer service from Schwab has been sorely lacking the last few years.

Rhonda McCline is a fantastic advisor at Schwab: competent, professional, caring, and knowledgeable. She always responds to both calls and emails in a timely fashion. I highly recommend her without any reservations whatsoever.

We have been Schwab clients for nearly 30 years and have never had a negative contact with anyone in their organization. We have always felt that their advice was appropriate for OUR situation.
We have used their services from several foreign countries without problems.
We recommend Schwab to anyone who professes an interest in investment management.

I greatly enjoy working with Chris Conover at the Tucson office. His understanding of bonds has been very helpful. He takes a sincere interest in his client's well being. Recommend him highly.
