I come here often and they help me just fine. Today is the second time that they will not cash a check for me reason being "the account is restricted". She said it was due to an expired ID on file, I give her the updated ID and still no actual assistance cashing a check from the state of Illinois. I remember when they refused my check the first time and I took it to my bank...they did it with no issue. I believe the man that helped me then put a block on my account because of race. I have always been very respectful and I work very hard to take care of my household. I will be contacting a lawyer because I believe this is very unfair of them to do to me with no explanation why. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. Smh.

If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Be careful of this place, they cash fraudulent checks.

A teller called my husband to verify a check from our ministry account. He told them the check wasn't valid and that it was a forged/ counterfeit check. He asked them to keep the check, which they replied they could not.

The problem is that even after he told him the check wasn't valid, they still cashed the check.

I went there to inquire about the process and the teller ( Sara) is stating that the check was verified. There's no way you got verification for the check when it was even signed by a whole different person that doesn't even match with the person you're talking to.

The truth of the matter is they didn't verify the check and chosr to cash it anyway. And one of the checks doesn't even have an endorsement. Go figure!

Either they're incompetent or a collaborator in the fraud. Stay away from this place! Plus the service is horrible.

These people are rude and have no professionalism on customer service. The lady hung up everything time she picked up and finally she decided to talk I asked her a question and she was rude and hung up again. What a you know what .... don't go to them besides being rude this location charges $5 to notarized. It's a dollar anywhere else.

I will never go back there again, I feel that I was racially profile. The clerk was mean and hostile for no reason. I was cashing a check not from my employer but from a the resident committee who gives a Christmas bonus out to the staff. All she had to do was call the company to verify, but the clerk stated I cash all different types of check which is not a problem to me because if the check was fraudulent I wouldn't be able to cash them check as the clerk would say. The two women were Hispanics so I could not make out what they were saying which is very rude to speak to someone who clearly speaks English. I feel that the women attempted to embarrass me by asking what kind of work I do and how long I been there, considering they never wanted to cash my check anyways. If you are black don't waste your time there, they're rude and unprofessional. I've never felt so humiliated. There is too much hate in the world , there should only be good customer service in the work place. All she had to say is we advise you to take the check to your bank or the bank on the check , NOT we can't cash this check because we haven't cashed a check like this in 4 years , I don't know why would you even mentioned what you did 4 years ago

Wow I was thinking about going there for 2 license plates renewals , but the reviews are so bad , I'm honestly going somewhere else. Thank you people for your reviews ! It really does work !

Visited 11/9/2019 - 10 A.M. I was greeted by an employee by the name Eddie who was more than helpful and respectful! Eddie helped me get my College refund check cashed and at a time when I really needed it for College expenses. Businesses need more people like Eddie to ensure that continued success and a high percentage of customer satisfaction is implemented!
