This place does confirm identity of people who gets loans from them.. someone stole my ssi number, they pulled my credit and didn't even read the credit report, if they had they would have seen it was fraud.. person gave them a Florida address, spelled my name wrong, 2 fony phone numbers,etc.. on my credit report it shows I've never lived in Florida, also showed my current address and the correct way to spell my name, also my place of employment, which is in the same city I live in..I have got police departments involved, identity theft agencies, etc.. they still are trying to make me pay a college loan I never got. By the way I never knew this place existed until it showed up on credit report. Guess I'll have to get lawyers now.

Talked to Ryan today about my student loans. I have a wage garnishment in place and I’m fine with that, however my credit report says no payments are being made to the U.S. Department of Education? I called to ask why my status is not being updated? He told me they are not required to report to the credit bureaus and I said but you are required to report to the Department of Education that your company is receiving payments on their behalf. He stated that I was in default even though payments are being made because they are being garnished and that I will remain in default until my balance is paid in full. Is this legal? Anyone else experiencing this issue? This sounds like I need to speak with an attorney, might even have a class action lawsuit if they are doing this to enough people. Also his balance was incorrect because it was higher than what my statements show

This company is so behind with the use of technology it is amazing I received a collection letter from them and even the name on the account was incorrect. To correct their error they wanted me to give them identification over the phone as well as fill out forms again to correct their mistake it is absurd. In this day and age do you have a collection agency that is not using the latest technology to search and find people. It is even more embarrassing that this company works for the US Department of Education collecting student debt. I would suggest that if you are involved with this company you pushback as hard as you can contact your state representative and senator as well as the US Department of education

Very, very unprofessional. I called the phone number provided to ask a general question about my husband's account. The individual on the phone just stopped responding and left me on the phone without saying a word. I can hear soft noises in the background, so she has not hung up. It's now been 11 minutes. It appears she's waiting for me to hang up.

Update: My husband is now on the phone with us. The owner of the account, and she's still silent.

Update: 48 minutes of silence

Update: They finally hung up after 1 hr 17 minutes of silence. I'm blown away

The MAIN thing that irritates me is the agreement is my payment's are AUTOMATIC. They were automatic for about 2 months, and every single month afterwards i was "late". Luckily not late enough for a penalty or rejection, but when i am busy, I DO forget. This is so sneaky and unfair, and especially if someone wasn't on top of calling the payment in like I am. The payment process over the phone is decently smooth, for some reason halfway through they started to send me to "another location" but it had the same waiting message so I'm not sure what the difference was. I am once again realizing i am "late" and I'm calling tomorrow to make a payment, hopefully i have concluded my agreement to be sent to another agency where I can get my tax return, and hopefully enter a deferral program to get this nightmare of student loans OUT of my life!

I got very lucky and was assigned to someone named Tasha. She helped me get everything set up. I cant speak for the issues the other reviewers had but the person I dealt with was courteous, professional, and as long as you got the paperwork they needed signed back to them in a timely manner, (as expected) they are more than willing to work with you. I highly recommend her. She was great at follow-up as well. Thank you Tasha!

Would like to pay back student loans but there is no way to do so over the phone or on the website from what I can tell, unless I can get ahold of someone during business hours or know to make the check out to. Why would a debt collection service not set up an automated payment service of some kind that can be done at all hours of the day..

These people are scammers. They send me a garnishment letter super late even past the date I’m suppose to respond. Instead they just want to garnish even though I want to set up payment plans. They don’t reason with you nor does management want to come to the phone.
