I had been building my dedicated account for around 6 months. I got an offer from Discover through Beyond Finance (reducing my debt with them by $1400), and I accepted the offer because they advised me to. That next week, they took $1075 out of my dedicated account with NO WARNING. I didn’t realize by using their service, they would be charging me 25% per settlement offer. So provided they lowered my debt by the amounts they were projecting, I would end up paying them $7000+ for their service, on top of the monthly fees I was already paying, and on top of my original debt payments. I will be settling on my own with the creditors from now on.

This company preys on the weak. They know you’re desperate and take advantage of that. No one verbally told me of this 25% charge, not even the person I talked to about that specific resolution offer. Please be aware and read the fine print. I was so excited to get out of debt but they have made the process longer for me now, and now my credit score is also ruined because of their advice.

Ms. Audrey Maze a previous reviewer of Beyond Finance explained it perfectly and everything she stated is true. Due to not doing my due diligence and reading the fine print my credit score has gone down drastically. I am preparing to cancel the program and figure it out with the creditors directly. Please do your research and work it out the best way you can with the creditors. The worse decision I have made, hopefully I can recover and put myself in a better position.

Was just browsing the web looking into some information and possible things todo about my debt , filled out a quick little thing thinking it would show me some info , about 2 min later my phone was ringing and it was a person from beyond finance, he was really nice and was throwing alotnof info at me at once , i ended up being on call for almost 3 hours , i was asking very pointed questions and he was quickly giving me answers, one specific question I asked him was if they where like other companies who say they will settle your debts and then once they do you then owe them 25 percent of the total of that debt so if it was a 2,500 debt you would owe them $650 for working on it that means even if they can’t get it lowered or only lowered by $100-$$20 you still have to pay them the $650 so you end up paying more then the debt was or exactly the same , to make this shorter he said oh our fees are included in your bi-weekly payments so he told me mine was $217 so he said over and over again there fees where in that so to me that ment they where taking a small asking of that each time that’s how they got paid , so at the end he got me to sign up after doing that it was the weekend so I had time to actually think and look into this more and once I did seen slot of bad reviews and this and that so I called back to cancel my account and was transferred to a super helpful employee and I told him what I found out was they do indeed charge a 25 percent fee per debt it wasn’t just a simple as there free was included in payment and this person told me yes that was true it was 25 percent and also found that every payment there was aborhe charge of there for premium services of $25 so by time got make your payment and all there stuff is taken out less then half is going tires your debt , I’m saying all this just to let people know to do your own research into them first before jumping on like I did because they make it sound very very good in phone but it’s not how it really is

I am new to the process and am hopeful the stress i feel will be reduced. Everyone on the team has been friendly, encouraging and helpful. I am concerned that I was asked to download the same document 3 times? And the email said if I didn't comply I wouldn't be eligible for the program. We will just have to see how it goes.

I came to these folks in a time of need/help, and they made it worse! I should have went forward with the high interest rates of the two accounts instead! My credit plummeted by close to 200 POINTS, AND THEY MADE LIGHT OF IT! My credit score went from 748 to 545. They said don't worry about that. It won't be low very long. I couldn't even refinance my home with a score that low!!!. It's been almost a year, and my score is still only around 580. I thought they were supposed to work hard for me against these creditors!!! One creditor sent out collection threats and a representative of beyond told me to send them a copy of the threats and not to worry. They have it taken care of, and to relax. I have nothing to worry about. Later, I'm contacted by email, and to give them a call. That representative said I needed to be worried, because the creditor was going to sue me and garnish my wages, or seize property. Wait.....what?
Bottom line is nobody with Beyond Finance is on the same pagr. Their fee is way too much compared to what they don't do! I feel like I hurt myself tremendously by trusting them. I killed my credit and my stress levels and PTSD is through the roof! For the next 2 years, I have to come up with over 10K, because they didn't fight for me! In the end, I did NOT save any money by enlisting their help, but lost money instead! Bottom line is DO NOT RECRUIT THE HELP OF FINANCE COMPANIES TO CONSOLIDATE YOUR PROBLEMS! IT'S NOT WORTH IT! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND BEYOND FINANCE TO ANYONE!!!

If I were you, I would avoid working with them entirely. Once you're in their program, you'll be stuck indefinitely. When you try to close out, they'll hit you with a hefty fee to report anything they've already worked on. Do your research and find a company better than Beyond to avoid wasting your money. I called in today and found out there's no workaround. Apparently, all communication has to come from you—they don't reach out at all. It's supposed to be their job to help you understand how everything works. I was shocked to learn that my final payment of $100 turned into $1,020. It's just crazy that after 3 years, I still have to give them more money to finish the account. If you don't pay, they won't process the final account until the fee is paid off. It's insane.

Hannah Brown was an excellent representative of your company. She explained the process very well, and made me feel like this is my best and smartest option to get debt-free. I honestly sleep better now. Now I just plan on sticking with it by slowly but solidly building up my account with you guys, and negotiate those pesky debts away! The app is fantastic, too, very user-friendly. By logging in, I can readily see that we're already close to working on my smallest debt. One step at a time, right? I just started, but dang it, this feels right, for me. Thanks Beyond Finance, you are a blessing!

I’m finally caving in and leaving a review. I can’t thank the people at Beyond Finance enough for all their hard work in helping me dig me out of a hole I put myself into! The communication on their end has been incredible. Easy to understand and they answer any and every question you may have. We’re on the final stretch of completely clearing all my debt and it wasn’t easy but they made it happen. It took some determination from my end and holding myself accountable but they did pretty much all the hard work.
