Belle Prairie has been Fantastic in taking care of their customers. The Insurance adjuster came out quickly to check damage They also got back with me in the time frame that they said.
I have used Belle Prairie Insurance for years and they have done great! When I called the new manager got back with me personally and took the time to explain things to me, very friendly and made sure that I got the answer I needed on my claim.
I give them 5 stars!!

We recently had substantial hail damage. After turning in a claim, TJ Welte assessed the damage and we had the 1st installment check in-hand within a day. After we had the damage repaired and turned in the completion invoice from our contractor, TJ Welte delivered the replacement check the next day. This entire process was very simple, painless and professional. Very pleased with Belle Prairie and TJ Welte’s team.

This is absolutely the worst company to deal with insurance wise! Recently we had a hail storm at the beginning of June, we have spent the last month trying to get information about our claim and to get a second opinion on our damage. Three different contractors have said we had damage to our roof/siding/shed and our decks. Lonnie Rothery was the adjuster they sent out and he has been difficult through the whole process, along with Chuck in the office. I advise you to stay away from this company for all of your insurance needs! I would rate them a “0” also if I could! Worst customer service ever, no call backs, they will not inform you when someone is coming to look at your property, and they will give minimal information to you.

Only because I couldn't give them a zero! Last winter the heavy snow and ice caused a rip in a transition between two flat roofs. When it began to thaw I had water in SHEETS running down my interior garage wall resulting in mold, ruined backing under the garage roof, warped paneling in my family room and constant leaks ( to name a few). Their response to the claim? "Sorry, pre-existing damage - claim denied.". Out of pocket expenses are estimated to exceed $12000 - stay as far away from this company as you possibly can!

This company is horrible! Do not insure with them! It took from May 24th to October 15th for the claim to get settled. My home was torn up all this time and they did not want to put back the same quality carpet and wood flooring that was originally there. This was only an $11,000 claim, not a $100,000 claim And it is unheard of in the insurance industry for a claim to take this long. My summer was ruined. I couldnt entertain or have any company as there was furniture all over the place with pieces of carpet cut up and sent in, tack strips exposed, and concrete where wood flooring used to be. Giving this Company a 1 is being generous and kind. Thats how bad this whole experience was. They did not care. I have cancelled my policy with them and am writing to save others from experiencing the same thing.

One roof claim. 3 contractors estimated in mid teens. Insurance company offered 1,000. When I called their office and asked for a manager they put me on the phone with the CEO !!! I thought that was odd. Since I live close to their listed address I drove their. Tiny office in a strip mall. "CEO" I talked to was practicing his golf putting in the office when I got there. Company is a complete scam. Had only a few office employees in a tiny strip mall office. Stay away from them.

Belle Prairie and their team have always been great when dealing with anything having to do with my homeowners insurance. Great people to work with. Also, working with our independent agent was so simple. Good place.

i had to file a claim two months after i moved into my new home because we were burglarized, they took care of it fairly efficiently.

It wasn't until my renewal date that they told me they would not be renewing my coverage. When I asked why they pointed to the one theft claim and said the drop any account with a theft claim on it as a policy.
What's the point of an inssurance company that drops your coverage because you filed a single claim?
