My family and myself had previously used their services for over 25+yrs, always with a pleasant experience. Called and asked for a re-quote as my auto insurance renewal rates went up. Was told that they would search and get back to me in a couple days.

Couple days goes by, and still no call or email following up. When I call their office again 5 DAYS LATER they still DO NOT have a finalize quote for me and ask me if they can get back to me tomorrow! I mean a week? Really?! You need a whole week to re-run a quote on a client you already have all the information for? Not to mention I had already discussed with them that my renewal deadline was quickly approaching...

After haggling with their office for a quote and running my own quotes elsewhere, I found a better deal for the same coverage with State Farm. When I informed them I was going with another option and requested cancellation documents for my current policy, I was instead sent an insulting email indicating that I probably just didn't understand the coverage State Farm was offering and was unknowingly sacrificing coverage for cost. Thanks, but I do know how to READ!

They were also nice enough to NOT email me my cancellation documents, and just resent their quote instead!

Worst customer service. Worst insurance experience. Stay far, far away from this company if you don't want a headache!!

the single worst customer service experience I've ever had...My policy was set to renew automatically I shopped rates and end up finding a better deal...just cancel and move on no big deal right? I call to cancel and end up giving them an opportunity to re quote me and quote my auto insurance...I hear from Jay Barasch he tells me he will try to get back to me but has a lot of personal stuff going on...I wait and call back and get told I'll try to call you today with quotes...this goes on 3 days...I finally get frustrated call the office and just ask to flat cancel. Jay tells me he'll send over cancelation papers no big deal...I call back because I haven't received them yet...he curses me out says he's no punk and he'll get around to sending the cancelation papers when he feels like it or I can call the company direct and get the forms from them...the convenience of having 1 company shop a variety of insurance company sounds great but do your own research and you'll find a better deal

Jay Barasch at Barasch Ins. Services Is a great resource for my family and I, all 16 of us. Private, small family owned with no allegiance to anyone but there customers. They have the freedom to shop around on your behalf. I have enjoyed working with them for over 20 years myself, my family even longer.

Worst insurance company to deal with. Do yourself a favor and look for a business that will treat you with respect and appreciate your business. This Jay guy really has anger Issues and needs to take a break from human interaction and really look at the man in the mirror. We’re not giving this man or this company any more of our time. DONE....!!!
