I say goodbye forever to this bank, which has made my life miserable over the last few months. They closed my accounts without telling me the reason, I contacted them and no one could give me a reason. I changed some details, I went to my appointment to open another account, they made me wait more than an hour and then they finally told me, it's not possible, you're banned. I went to ✨WELLS FARGO✨ and they quickly assisted me, guided me, explained things to me and were so kind. Farewell Bank of America.

I had a deeply disappointing experience attempting to open a business account at Bank of America. Despite thorough preparation, I encountered significant issues:

Website clearly states that only one owner with 25% ownership is required to open an account.
In-branch staff insisted all stakeholders must be present, contradicting online information.

Staff were unwilling to discuss or clarify the discrepancy between online and in-branch policies.
My attempts to show the online policy were dismissed without explanation.

Was asked to re-queue multiple times without resolution.
Staff avoided further communication, suggesting to "come back another time" without addressing the core issue.

No attempt was made to escalate the issue or find a solution.
Felt dismissed and undervalued as a potential business customer.
While I understand policies may change, the lack of consistency between online information and in-branch practices is unacceptable. The unwillingness to address this discrepancy or offer any solution was particularly frustrating.

Just went there hoping to get some quarters for the laundry machines in our building. The black lady first said yes, took my cash but then asked me if I have a debit card or credit card with them. I said no and she said I can't give you quarters if you're not banking with us and gave the cash back to me. Really? I've been to Wells Fargo and Chase and it was always no questions asked. Terrible attitude and customer service. There's no way I'll bank with you.

Nathan and Stephine are definitelyfree for 30 mins, no clients with them, but they just refused to do their job to service the client approaching them, they just sitting there do nothing and making excuses that there may got some client will come, so they just do nothing and waiting, but refused to fulfill their duties yo service the client right now at the bank, and we just kept on waiting for 45 mins,,,, and still waiting since they will ask someone else to do their job

I had a great experience when I opened my account here and there was someone named Ahmed who was extremely good the way he dealt with customers.
However today I had the worst experience when I visited the branch. I would have closed the account if not for the credit history. There was someone who goes by the name Khushi and the way she behaved felt like she was there to discourage people visiting branch.

This was our second visit to Bank of America Emeryville to open an account. We had confirmed and booked the appointment and checked what all documents will be needed on call with a BOFA representative.
However at the bank location, the Banker Ms. Kaur who goes by the name Khushi was extremely rude, arrogant and unhelpful. She was not interested in spending time to assist us and simply demanded us to come back again with additional document which wasn't even needed to open the account! She definitely needs training on how to treat customers and people in general nicely!

I was at their branch office on San Pablo ave in Oakland today to open an account for a minor. One of the clerk told us to bring two forms of identification. He confirmed a school ID and a drivers license would work. After I told my son to bring those documents while I am waiting for him at the bank another clerk told us they need social security card to open an account. We have to leave the office again to bring the card. Even if we went home and bring all the documents they required, before 4 pm, they told us no one is available ti assist and we have to make appointment for the following day. We requested to talk to the manager and the manager finally gave an order to the clerk to help us. It seems like the staffs don’t know what they are doing. This is not the only thing we noticed about their poor service. While we were waiting in the waiting room, we saw an old lady walked in to get help. She made an appointment online prior to her arrival. She was told that the person who suppose to help her is not present. Poor old lady had to leave the office without getting any help. No one bothered to call her and notify or cancel her appointment. Their service is terrible and the staffs are unprofessional. Nathan and khushi were the staff who assisted us and I hope management will put an effort to give their clients a better service .
