Worked with Axene on the development of our mobile app for over a year. To say the experience was painful would be an understatement. This is a healthcare company that acquired a tech company and clearly doesn't put a priority on it. Endless delays were the name of the game, most of the time committing to a much shorter timeline (ie. 3 months on a project) only for it to take a year (literally).
Our project manager was verbally abusive on calls, calling me names when we pressed him on deliverables. Hard to believe, I know...but it happened.
The company clearly has fallen on hard times as they moved our development from a US based developer to an overseas developer mid project, without informing us. Our developer was then let go from the company and let us know on the side that they were lying to us about what happened. Absolutely shocking.
The development work itself was fine, did what was required, code has been clean (both US and overseas), but they are not a technology partner. No communication and senior leadership is not engaged with their customers.
If you are looking for mobile app development support, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. We have and it feels good to be done w/ Axene.
