I’ve been with the Aronson group for three years now. It started off shaky meaning they filed something incorrectly, in the beginning, and they had to pay the insurance company directly and I had to pay them.
My second year things were fine. I didn’t need much from them.
My third year, The Aronson group dropped the ball with me badly. They forgot to file proof of general liability with Progressive costing me a couple hundred dollars in discounts. When I brought it up to them, they told me I should have received a notice to send it myself, but that they could do it if I’d like them too. “Duh!” I thought that’s what my agent is supposed to do. The biggest fumble was they forgot to file my insurance renewal with the FMCSA which caused my common authority to be revoked on 3/31/25.
The Aronson Group staff is very pleasant and kind. But I kind of feel like I’m dealing with a brand new company this year (2025), and I’m going for the ride as they learn what to do. Forgetting to file my renewal with the federal motor carrier is unacceptable. This could have went wrong in so many ways. I could have gotten pulled into a weigh station and placed out of service on a high priority load, and been subject to an insurance claim on the cargo. This was a very serious oversight, that I wouldn’t expect from a seasoned agency as the Aronson Group.

4/3/25 - my authority has been reactivated.

I thank Thomas Aronson, and his team for getting this resolved quickly and getting me back on the road. I’d still choose them as my agency. 🤝🏽👍🏽

My 1-star rating stands as is. To clarify, my initial NSF payment was due to using the wrong account—this was entirely my mistake, and I never held your company accountable for it.

The issues I encountered were due to incorrect monthly payment amounts provided by your representatives. As you're aware, Great West enforces a three-strike policy:

First Incident – The NSF payment (completely my fault).

Second Incident – A $70 short pay in October. I paid the amount provided by your team, yet this was later deemed insufficient. As a result, Great West required the policy to be paid in full. Despite having email records of the amount quoted, your company refused to acknowledge the discrepancy, forcing me to pay approximately $10,000 to keep my policy active.

Third Incident – This month, I proactively reached out to your representative for the correct payment amount. I paid what I was told, yet again, the amount was incorrect—leading to the cancellation of my policy.

While I initially received a decent quote, the service and communication afterward were subpar. Your emotional response further demonstrated your true character, seemingly intended to attack or embarrass me or my company.

In trucking, changes happen instantaneously, and policies must be adjusted accordingly. I do appreciate you processing the necessary changes and providing COIs. However, I strongly recommend improved communication and accountability moving forward.

Great company to work with!!! Greg definitely went out of his way to help get me up and running and made this part of the journey the easiest!! Starting your own trucking company sucks!!!!! But Greg Beardsworth and Aronson group got my insurance as a first time company about 5k less per year than other than other companies I know are paying!!!
