Turned everything in like I always have same way every time no issue before I Get on the phone call meeting woman would not take it 2 things that i turned in she was supposed to send me something showing what she needed never sent it instead I get a letter saying she closed my account I go to office woman at desk says o they have 10 days to look at it 10 days pass nothing is done Go in a couple days after 10 days talk to same person it's not been assigned to anyone & didn't you get the letter where they closed yes I did but that's not what was supposed to happen she said she would email them still not heard anything... can't get anyone on a phone and they should get someone at front desk that knows what they are doing I hate being like this but I'm so tired of the run around

All Arkansas offices are consolidated and they are so far behind on cases. If you call it's at least a 30 minute wait time and then very vague unhelpful answers. The lady I talked to yesterday said they were told not to go by their own guidelines on the amount of days they are allowed for a case.

They open at 8am so I called at 8:15 and now it's almost 9am still no answer always waiting on hold for a hr and some times longer I changed spots because I always heard walnut ridge was better but it s exactly like Pocahontas now I just needed some information for my son's Drs appointment from them but still on hold

I'm not sure if this review is for Walnut Ridge DHS alone or for the whole Department of Human Services for Arkansas. I spoke with an agent this morning regarding my one year old and my insurance randomly got cut off due to them saying that I do not meet the income eligibility guidelines and at the time not a thing of my information had changed. The woman I spoke with this morning was the most rude, non compassionate woman I have ever spoken to, especially when I explained that my child has an infection that could turn into Sepsis ,if not treated and how important it was for her to help me figure out what was wrong. All she did was belittle me and talk to me as if she absolutely hated her job and the people she has to deal with. This is a very important matter to people, having insurance. We come to these people for help and instead get turned away and given another hotline to call. I called this same number three weeks ago and talked to a very polite woman willing to help, but never got back with me regarding my matter. The woman this morning had me in tears literally because of the way she talked to me and handled the situation! Please do better for our people! We need the insurance if we cant afford it, especially the little ones who especially need it. Be kind. I know it is Monday, but some of us are in desperate need of help! This woman cut me off at every sentence with, "LOOK LISTEN TO ME, NO YOUUR WRONG, I CANT HELP YOU, YOU NEED TO WAIT LONGER ON THEM TO CONTACT YOU!" Never will I ever sit and let someone talk to me like that again and sadly we do allow it because we are scared that our health insurance lies in their hands! Just do better people. Be kind. Even on Monday!

I would love to hear From a snap caseworker. I put in a change of address a month ago and I've called several times and they said the case hasn't been worked yet. When your passing out almost everything in rent and utilities you don't have much left for food.

Undecided...... VERY VERY VERY UNREAL.... THEY LIE AND MANIPULATE U AND TRY TO MAKE U SAY WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR, CAUSE THEY CAN CONTROL U THEN.... OHHHH GOOD LUCK TO U DHS/DCFS... CROOKES I BELIEVE U ARE.. MY OPINION
