I will NEVER BE AN ADT CUSTOMER AGAIN!
My signature was forged on a contract for equipment I didn’t know my tech was installing and was not verified with me. I’ve spend 15 or more hours total on the phone with customer service just to be transferred over and over again with no help. They have refused to refund me the $1200 that they stole from me. They have refused to honor what their sales representatives told me on recorded phone calls. As a courtesy for our troubles they said they would refund one installment of $373 that is apart of the $1,200 and now more than two months have gone by and they still have not refunded me due to the manager not properly documenting in my file that she would refund us. They said they will do an investigation to acquire the recorded phone calls of the promised refund but nothing has come of it to date.

I was previously a customer for almost 2 and a half years with no issues. It wasn’t until I moved to a new house and had a new system installed that I had all these issues. I would have thought we would have been treated better than this and they would have access to question their employees when they dishonored their word but apparently questioning their own employees is against protocol

I will be reporting ADT to the better business bureau

I am a new home owner with an existing ADT system I planned to activate as soon as possible, but I will never hire them after how I was treated by customer service when their system bugged:

- first person accidentally transferred me to the internal ADT help desk for ADT employees
- second person gave me inaccurate information but was nice. Bugged alarm going for three hours
- third person told me since I’m not an active ADT customer it’s not his problem then he hung up on me
- the fourth person finally helped me with accurate information

The first and third customer support team people were unhelpful and rude. I’ll never been an ADT customer if this is how they treat potential customers who need help

ADT debited my checking account for 2 [TWO] paynents in the month of March '24. The 2nd payment seems to have become a "GHOSTed" amount, which still has not been applied to month's coverage!!

I have spoken with numerous customer seevice reps; written numerous lettees and texts; and have tried to get their billing department to account for the 2nd payment taken in March.

I continue to receive DELIQUENT PAYMENT DUE$$$$!!!. I am tired of dealing with this minor problem of $49.99. The AMOUNT IS INSIGNIFICANT.....THE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER is that I WILL NOT PAY THAT WHICH I DO NOT OWE...

CAN ANY BODY HELP ME TO RESOLVE THIS ELEMENT OF BEING SCAMMED FOR a lack of billing accountabilty

I'm a ADT customer.
Twice a week I get solicitation mail in my mailbox that is part of a mass mailing. No name just "current resident."

Way to go ADT !!! You really don't know your customers like businesses did in the "good old days."
And everyone on my street is an ADT customer....and they are getting the mass mailing too.

And way to go wasting your employer's money doing a mass mailing to existing customers.

It really makes you look so stupid...ya' know what I mean...?!!!

We've been ADT customers now for a year and a half and are totally dissatisfied. The monitoring service ADT provides is just fine, but the installation is overpriced, they charge $60 for service calls to fix their equipment which often malfunctions, and we are locked into a multi-year contract that it will cost us $900 to get out of. Be forewarned.

Exclusive equipment, expensive monitoring, contracts. The equipment you buy is not transferable to another monitoring service speaking of service, it’s been shoddy and spotty. As an added bonus the representative on the phone all speak English as a second language. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem if you placing an order for sale or cake, but following technical instructions to turn off the alarm that has been blaring for an hour not so wonderful.

I would give a 0 if I could. The sales people were terrible but I went forward against my better judgement. Turns out they signed me up for a multi year contract I cant get out of even though I don't owe on any of the equipment. Be careful with their fine print or be smart and go with literally any other security service.

My ADT representative did an outstanding job. He went over several packages to ensure I knew my options. Working with David, I feel safe and secure. He answered all the questions I had and walked me through everything I needed. I will recommend Mr. Jackson's services to others.

Update: I gave Mr. Jackson a referral to one of my friends and he criticized him on his credit without knowing if he was a victim of identity theft. Change the rating from 5 stars to 2 stars
