Sadly, I cannot recommend this broker. I own multiple commercial properties and his very nice notary Melinda recommended I reach out to their office for a commercial insurance quote.

I called Kurt Banks, the founder and broker. It took him two days to return the call.

I very nicely began to share my policy limit requirements and he spent more than half the call explaining how busy he is and why he need to delegate the call to someone else.

After giving him less than five minutes worth of information about my policy limits and asking him to refer it to his internal staff, he stopped me and asked me to have my staff connect with someone else.

His web site claims that his office is "...small enough to provide the personal service you deserve..." which is false.

When I politely informed Kurt I would seek out another broker because it didn't seem like he wanted the business, he abruptly hung up the phone.

For notary, Melinda is amazing.

For commercial insurance, they "suck".

And I have never written a bad review about any insurance company, period.

Think twice before you call them. The service is nothing like the web site claims and Kurt even had the nerve to say he took so long calling back because he thought I was a salesman. I reminded him that he was in sales and so am I, so it seemed an inappropriate comment.

Stay away from this firm. They aren't good.

And I have been their neighbor for 23 years.

Hanging up the phone on a potential client?

Unforgivable.

Best family owned insurance company ever. I’ve had my workman’s comp, business property ins, condo ins, 3 cars covered for more than 25 years with them. I get personal attention from Kendra or Kathy when ever needed. I highly recommend this small and very professional agency.
