I was in a crunch to find a new homeowners policy in California after the wild fires and found Phil randomly on Yelp and called him. Although my house was no where near the fires, it was just hard to get a new quote because of them. Insurance enjoys making it difficult for normal people. Anyway with the help of Phil we found a great policy that was only going to be a tiny bit higher then my old insurance. He was very friendly, and easy to talk to and work with. He also answered my call quickly. Thank you Phil for all your help!

When some insurance companies are getting out the homeowners insurance business, Philip seems to be able to locate insurance companies who, at reasonable prices, still willing to insure our primary residence and rental properties. What a horrible insurance broker.

I was referred to this broker and at first they were very helpful and found me a very good policy. Once I called them to change coverage from home owners to landlord, the broker Philip Cothran Jr., decoded to quote me an absurd amount in the thousands.
I then requested to not go through with the Landlord policy and he tells me that he will cancel my policy for my home owners insurance.
There should be very little to no reason why a Landlord policy would be 2-3x as much as my home owners insurance.

Now I'm currently not able to renew my home owners insurance this year due to Phillip stating I have tenants and canceling the policy I had.

Don't do business with this man or this company.

For anyone wanting to know if I was able to find alternative insurance on my own. Yes I was able to and they didn't charge me in the thousands for Landlord insurance.
