I have never had a problem with Smart Bank until this morning. Brittany is one sorry liar! I called to get info about a pending deposit. She told me she can't do that. I called the branch in Jackson and the lady I spoke with helped me without a problem. Not sure why Brittany lied. I never want to deal with her again.

I have a business account and personal account with SmartBank since a long time, and have experienced horrible customer service at the Thomasville, AL location. Specifically from Alesia Headley who is the branch sales manager at this location. I called and ask for two accounts of mine for the "as of date balance" on a letterhead for proof of funds. I have got this a few times in the past without having any trouble when this bank was Capstone Bank. Miss Headley told me she will e-mail me later on. She could have easily verified my identity on the first call, but she did not. When I called after a few hours she said that I would have to go and pick it up. I said I live 15 miles away from the bank and I did not have a problem before. Only then did she start verifying my Identity, which could have been done on the earlier call. I needed to submit this letter for good and i got late. I did not appreciate this service at all.

Not friendly at all. I had a overdraft took my tax check to pay it they told me they was low in money. They won't have any until next Thursday.
