The agent, Veronica McGee and a male partner whom I did not get a name, showed up at my door without an appointment, asking for my wife and didn't even know my wife's correct name. I asked her how she knew my wife and what she wanted with her. Veronica stated that my wife had contacted her to discuss Medicare Insurance. My wife works in the insurance industry, so I knew instantly that Veronica was lying to me. I then asked her if she was soliciting anything and she said no she was there just to advise my wife. I informed her that our subdivision has a sign at the entrance that says "No Solicitation". Obviously it was ignored. Again I asked her what she was selling and she said they were not selling anything. Her partner also stated they were not selling anything. I asked her for her business card which she provided, her partner did not have one. I told her my wife was working and when she got home I would pass on the information. When my wife arrived home, she said she had not contacted anyone about Medicare insurance, let alone Bankers Life. I feel that Bankers Life's approach was extremely unprofessional! To show up on my doorstep acting like they have an established connection with a family member to try to gain entry. I do not appreciate their underhanded, lying tactics to try to gain business! I would not even give them one star, but it is the only way you can post a review.

My wife Marilyn I are both in Assisted Living. About 13 years ago we purchased In Home Health Care Insurance from Banker’s Life. Now we need to activate it so I called the Tucson office and made appointment for an agent to meet with us at the facility where we are residing (outdoors with mask and social distancing).
Mr Stephen Polich along with Mr Benjamin Yates came to out to go over the procedure required to start the process. This was September 22, 2020 and it was discovered we met all the requirements to make use of our policy. On September 24, 2020 they returned we completed the necessary forms and met with the owner of the facility to inform her what was required of her to assist us in completing the process.
Mr Polich inquired if I were a Veteran, I replied yes six years in the Navy during the Korean War and after.
Being a, good Marine, who served during The Desert Storm Conflict, he informed me I was entitled to assistance from the VA for Medical and other expenses because I had served during a war. He contacted Mr Short at the VFW to assist me in initiating this procedure. He also offered to help us to get a better and less expensive Medical Insurance Plan. Both of these services are “above and beyond” Stephen’s call of duty in
initiating our insurance policy for which we are extremely pleased and grateful.
Previous to this we had not had much contact with Banker’s Life. We have had Annuities over the years but the only contact then was to start the 70 and half withdrawal requirements. This being our first “face to face” we are very impressed with Banker’s Life and the two gentlemen who work here at the Tucson office for their caring and concern for our well being! We would recommend Banker’s Life and the Tucson office to anyone needing the products they sell.

A couple of months ago my sister passed away. To say this was unexpected would be to put it mildly. It was a complete shock, absolutely out of the blue, and while neither of us is young, nowadays mid sixties just does not seem that old. While we were quite close, I had no idea her affairs were so, disorganized. Considering that she was the 'bright' one of us both that in it itself was surprising, but whatever.

All I can say, with complete sincerity, is thank God for Stephen Polich and Robert Savage of the Tucson Bankers Life office, and thank God my sister had decided to work with them. Both these gentlemen were in the process of helping my sister (who had recently lost her husband) consolidate her financial position when she passed. I am so glad she did.

Working with both these gentlemen has been a delight. They are obviously extremely competent, polite and professional, and very patient as I have asked question after question to sort through the rather tangled web of my sister's affairs. And the same is true of the Tucson office in general. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

On other thing. I live in Fort Worth, Texas so much of this has been, and will continue to be, conducted at long distance. Yet that has not proved to be a hindrance, and all the above apply. What I will say is that once my sister's estate is settled and all this is put behind us, I will continue to work with Stephen Polich, Robert Savage, and the Tucson office of Bankers Life simply because they are very good at what they do.

Great group of people to work with! They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and actually care about helping others. I have witnessed on several occasions when some of their representatives have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help others!
