I have been trying to get my recycle bin for over a month. Called first week in January, told they would get me my bin by the 8th. It never arrived. Called again and they stated that they are running a bit behind but should be there by the 19th. Called once again to be told "that is not how this works and we don't give dates for when you will receive your bin" but she will start it on February 1st. Paid my bill including recycling and called again asking. They said they will put a work order in (why was this not done to begin with) and should be here the end of the week or the beginning of next week...it is now Wednesday of that week and still no freaking bin, so I called again to speak to a manager as this is getting ridiculous they said they will have the manager call me today from the Chillicothe location, but haven't heard back quite yet as of 2:45pm

Glad to be back! I switched to a cheaper company but that didn’t work out so well so now I’m back! 😊 I’ve previously had great service with GFL and am glad to continue again! 👍🏾

This Company doesn't deserve a single star. Once GFL took over my bill had a 100% increase. $78 for 3 months to $160 for 3 months then they change pick up days with zero notification. Yet if you miss a bill date payment I get calls and emails. They called the increases inflation but doubling the bill is robbery.

Really, Reallly, Really bad Chillicothe,IL facility. Get away from the Chilli team and the GFL team and investors get it. Keep pushing for answers and eventually the core business shines. I have a long story to tell. But it will have to wait for now. Really bad local company turns out to be a really good global company. Don’t let the local incompetence in Chillicothe,IL drive your experience with GFL. They are good outside of this area. Just need a little fixin locally.

I have agreed to see how it is handled locally over the coming days.

I would give zero stars if I could. I have called TWICE for a recycling bin and have yet to receive one. They told me it can take up to 2 weeks. It's been almost a MONTH. Get it together and please give me a recycling ♻️ bin.

Well this company is a joke. We just moved out into the country and they grabbed our garbage once we are on week 3 with them not doing the job they are payed to do. They get both neighbors to our left and right. There office person has said they made a note. Note what note don't do your job. It's sad.

Week late dumpster delivery, no call back, excuses and apologies that will go nowhere.

I feel commentary ends at the person on the phone who receives it, I cannot imagine a company consistently getting this poor marks has anyone in charge that actually cares. Knowing selection for the area is quite limited in some cases there is none because Wigand has bought up the competition, leaves them to provide whatever service they deem fit, usually inadequate.

I have a small apartment and the tenants have been waiting for dumpster service, it was supposed to be here last thursday at the latest as of this review. I called and left a message Friday that it hadn't been delivered, got no call back as of Monday. Got informed this morning by the tenants that the dumpster still isn't here, so I called up Wigand to see where it was.

I get told one of the trucks is down, and that they were out of 2 yard dumpsters. Fair enough, but they have my information a simple "We're delayed" would have at least given me some peace of mind. Delays happen, trucks break, it's part of the business.

Having left a voice mail with someone who I'm told is out of the office, and not getting any call back is wholly on the service department and their lack of procedure for when this type of thing happens. They could have called, but chose not to. They could have had someone checking the voicemail of the guy that is out, but likely they do not.

Their abysmal rating seems to be quite deserved, and I doubt they are concerned to remedy it.
